  1. I usually have a more manly, deeper baritone falling scream, that or I begin swearing and it gets cut off mid-Fu**
  2. Having lived in Anacortes, I'm slightly partial to Erie. Have the ticks come out yet?
  3. Ooooh! I am so, so sorry! I hope those two guys made it up to you for such S & M.
  4. Nicely done!! From my experiences, it's always the short, overlooked mountains in the Cascades that I've had the biggest pucker factor on. BTW, the second pic with the traverse is friggin rad. The angle and the light makes it very Dali.
  5. Tell me about it, there's so much snow I've done more backcountry days than inbounds. BC = 8 , Resort = 2. Add in three snowshoeing trips into the mix too.
  6. And think, when it melts some, you have some bump skiing!! I should tell me friends that do the stairs as a workout to strap on some boards.
  7. Very, very nice, even if the goal wasn't completed. But the big gear question on have is what liquor did you bring with ya?
  8. This never gets old.
  9. Saw this last month on Lou Dawson's blog. My train of thought is to get the hell out and if that is not possible, to clear as much debris from my face as possible during burial.
  10. Where is this? I know I've been to this vantage before and I can't remember where for the life of me!!
  11. Red Mtn
  12. You're not alone with the wiggle. 404s are just not performance bindings and that's just it. I don't ever expect any precesion turning with them, but I do avoid the trees so they must do the job. As for DIN, go higher up but not too high. No AT binding will release as safely as a downhill binding, a sacrifice in their usefulness.
  13. Bugaboos!!!!
  14. Why are you listening to other people?
  15. It was a real crazy storm. We got 28 inches here southwest of Denver, yet only 6 inches fell at Copper Mtn, but well over a foot by Berthoud Pass. It's all a dry snow that was accompanied by heavy winds. Heading up to the hills tomorrow to get a little taste before flying back east for the holidays. And I'm not going anywhere near any prime slide spots. Tree skiing for me thank you.
  16. That's a cute cat. I had one that had six toes on her front paws. Very good for catching bugs.
  17. Thing needs a skateboard to get around. (Insert: Just like {name of flammer}'s mom!!)
  18. Can't wait for this summer. You ticked two of the three climbs I want to get on when we head up there.
  19. Ding! Ding! My new executive producer's philosphy: "If we don't have video, we don't run it." Oh and also more useless celebrity news!! I'm sorry, has anybody seen my pride laying around here someplace?
  20. So many sheep, so little time.
  21. Dru, I don't know where you find this stuff. But its borderline scary. Don't you have a woodie to go pull on?
  22. It's not just that worthless piece o' crap O'Reilly. There was an online poll on kgw.com (Portland TV station) today asking essentially the same question. I'm disappointed to report that at the time I checked, 73% of the poll participants agreed with O'Reilly. F'ing pathetic. I worry that people with influence and control over access will see these numbers and feel the need to act accordingly. As a person that works in TV news, I can tell you that most people that respond to these polls are scared to leave their couch and have nothing better to do. Your Saturday morning is a week's worth of activities for these deprived souls.

I thought this thread was about Cpt Cavey?!
  24. If we were still hunter-gatherers, O'Reilly would have been eaten a long time ago by a herd of sabertoothed snaffles.
  25. Sherman Exposed - John Sherman, I've reread it probably four times now.
