Next thing you know they will install a toilet at the trailhead, install a trailhead sign and then start the fee demo there... Then the local larry the tool will ticket you for being the criminal while your car is plundered.
-
I don't think it would be too hard to stealth up on the fuckers in action after luring them. All they do is watch trails coming out of the woods... But to get shot for credit card theft in a joe the law situation might not be worth it... A gun would be a good tool.. But a clever plan that does not call for apprehending anyone or little to no interaction is probably the best plan. You can take all the pictures you want. But what good is that gonna do if cops already have a license plate.

The one in Alberta.. How many days did it take?
-
Dane, I'm willing to lure the fuckers and give them a whop. But in the description of these dirtbags I can only assume they will have at least one gun. Since we already have license plates and vehicle descriptions and a record of the police doing jack shit there I can only assume that the cops will do nothing again. Or least not be in a hurry to do something about it. What do you propose?
-
It's unfortunate that this sort of thing is being proposed. There are obviously many circumstances that a helo is not needed for a rescue and there will undoubtedly be times when it's going to be called and not needed. The blanket effect of the fee is pretty shitty for someone that has a real life situation problem and really does need the helo. I can imagine hospital bills trauma and then rescue fee. I also agree with eliminating this based on ChesterMolester's remarks... They are valid points. Otherwise I want to pay a fee for which company is coming to rescue me based on competence, speed, experience and equipment at hand. Also I recommend reading the article "The fees could help add deputies to the force and help start a "meth strike team."

Whenever. Just got to make sure we get a good turnout like last time.

No doubt. It's easy to eliminate his presence at a Pube Club for instance. Just make it too far for him to bicycle to.

we'll look for the trip report on Monday! Be sure to spell check and proof-read for clarity!

Glad to get under your skin. I'll keep up the good work. Your reading comprehension is garbage because you are inserting your thoughts into my comments. AGAIN I never said written TR's were no good. Your skull is thick. Nobody is getting pissy but you. You are all worried about my opinion. Get over it. You can't change it.
-
You didnt but your consistant whining about my opinion is pretty boring. I stated my opinion. If you dont like it too bad. Nobody said you had to agree. I think my remarks are fine. If you dont like them do something about it. I never said I never liked TR's with words. AGAIN your reading comprehension is in the gutter. To my level. Well you are the one bent out of shape about my comments. I guess it's your level. You can easily ignore my comments as well as I can easily ignore boring tr's. Over the course of the past 12 months I have only razzed one person about a tr - and oh yes it was full of lies, chestbeating and poorly written. I graced the thread with my opinion. Nothing more. My negative remarks are much lower rate than many others here. Get a life. Later
-
Ohhh I get it. You are the smart guy. Your logic is to spray all over this thread and then ask for no spray in the TR's. Now who's dumb.
-
Your reading comprehension is about as shitty as your post.

I never took any offense to what you stated. I was only pointing you in the direction of where I am coming from.....

A photo thread is much different. I am not telling anything. I am only letting others experience the view. Not how tough I am or how bad ass or how many pitches I did or I did the sit start to the route or all that shit. I think you know what I am talking about cracked. Never did I say people shouldn't write reports. I think I am making another point you are missing or ignoring.
-
Everyone should write TR's about secret ice and brag photos on the internet. Everyone should write TR's about every single pitch they climb. Everyone should make internet posters of themselves on top of mountains and post them here every time. Everyone should write about all the stupid jargon used to describe how they clipped up a 90 foot route. I gain so much from all the above it's unreal.

Yeah I have 4 sets now. 4 times up the drainage in less than 12 months. So what.

It may be about as easy to ski or hike up mtneer creek but there is something to be said about sitting and moving. Also it burns a few hours off the time to get in there.... Which is not much but if you have to work sunday nights like me then it IS a good idea to bring a snowmobile. Fuck rat creek in winter.

Shoe tree- best one yet!

I know somebody who did the traverse this year. They recommended skis...... It looks like skis all the way over there. Yummy

I agree that this can be climbed year round. If you like Scottish style climbing go for it. Rob and I had a Scottish fest on it last December.... There was a couple of challenging sections and one spot where we would liked to have ice. Or maybe me anyway I would not expect large amounts of ice on Chair any time soon. Even based on the forecast I believe more snow needs to fall, so there is something to melt and refreeze.

I am with matt. One good piece of protection is usually good enough. Here's Perkins in the hills with cotton button up shirt
