Werd up Lambone pass it along to your buds maybe they have an idea
-
Fred, Do you think Lambone is serious he never sent you the email and has he done your route? Hehe I doubt it unless he sends the email Seriuosly though I heard Fred saying he thought there was a better topo\description and he seems serious about finding it. I think he takes pride in having the most definitive guide around.

Also let me mention that those military personnel train for rescue on weekend sunny days weh all our asses are trying to have a good time. I went through ranger school with 3 AF Para Rescue dudes. They all finished 3 of 3 at a good pass rate considering army rate was 28% and marines at 21% finish rate.
-
Dont forget the guy saving you wants to climberbro! He or she volunteered for that training!
-
climberbro16, Nope but I just have respect and understand as I have been in the military in combat zone with infantry unit.... I learned how to climb from a friend that was in the army and not related to any military training. I am just relating what I feel is true. I can talk a lot of trash about the military but one thing is true- once the shit hits the fan they are serious and dedicated as well as trained well...

I think he only gets one when a new page is created. Make page 100

Let me ring out and say that I spent 7 years in the army. I jumped out of copter and planes and jets. I can tell you that many officers and soldiers\military personnel take pride in their jobs and especially in rescue ... the pride runs deep in that area rightly so. I can only take my hat off to any of them and all of them. I hope they still remain bold and trained well. It is in some way considered training sometimes when these personnel are actually not "training" but rescuing but I am sure they get the right pay for them as well as personal and public gratitude they deserve. Indeed they are true heroes. I am sad to hear of deaths and injuries also knowing they are unavoidable. Nobody wants a rescue and nobody wants the media attention. I may talk jokingly about others needing it but only jokingly and never when an injury or death occurs. That is sad. I think that if you are a climber and may need it like me then get insurance or think about it. It seems wise and right. I can only say that maybe rescue insurance which I am buying this week through the AAC is a good idea [ 06-03-2002, 11:28 PM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]

If you want a cheap bivy bag and choose between Bibler and Integral Designs remember both fabrics are same and ID is cheaper. I ditched my Bibler for ID and think that I have seen some cool tents wich are not cheap http://hilleberg.com Just shut up and get a bivy for now. Then get a single wall 4 season is my advice

I call that stuff rubble. Prime reason for me to climbe elsewhere besides these peaks.......
-
Good work. I am glad to see someone likes the TOOF. I hate it and will not be back unless there is winter ice
-
Man just stick with my idea. Make the second ascent of the N Norwegian Buttress of Mt Index after some 15 years or so since first climb. Then just toss your bags and dive off the bitch One can determine possiblities by a short 3.6 mile pleasant hike up the trail too...........
-
Hehe. I personally aint going cuz I am tired of the driving to see the same people and I never had a memory of anything due to reckless drinking. Plus I think I will be climbing tomorrow evening depending on weather and work..
-
Foofy Fiends action suit sold to Ruddersbox along with spandex mini skirt for high altitide expedition. I will be viewing progress online and snaring new photos of ruddersbox wearing alpine miniskirt at basecamp with RuPaul hehe
-
I personally think the TOOF is a rubble pile of insignificance in the summer. However if you disbeleive and want to climb it go fer it and enjoy yerself. Just clip the quickdraws to the members of parties as you pass on by. Just as good as bolts since they are so numerous
-
geordie get your ass in gear and start making more tickets to fund the road maintenance you gaper Then I will come and send a mountain up there this summer whilst drinking heavily without a permit to camp. See if you can find me
-
I am a gumby and I will still push and likely make the summit with 30 packets of Gu a fleece jacket and aluminum stubai crampons on my 5.tennies and walking stick across any glacier Maybe the statement should read somewhere in there- determining who is a dumb gumby and who is not

I think a big gathering at Darrington would be much better anyways....

http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/recreate/wilderns.html#alpine Quoted from above: "An overnight reservation permit is required from June 15 to October 15 for entry to the unique Enchantments Area of this wilderness. Dogs are not allowed within any of the permit areas. Permits for day-hiking within the reservation area, as well as day use and overnight trips in other areas of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, are available on a self-issue basis at the Leavenworth Ranger Station and trailheads."

A guy would be a ropegun fagboy

What a ropegun hooker
