The locations closed were mostly ledges from my memory. Like the entire Wild Traverse route. The thing I believe is that maybe they dont even look up close to see what is actually going on. Meaning are they distinguishing from on the rock that that is where these things are nesting? Not likely... I bet they are just looking from afar. Thus could also mix up and think Noontime is also Midnight unless they walked up to the rock. If you are on the trail up closer they even look like one. I saw many people climbing up there so far this year and none have reported seeing nests. What you see is the birds flying to and from Noontime Rock. If one were to climb next to their nest I think they would get a little extra special treatment as those birds seem to be somewhat territorial and aggressive if you come near a nest.. My guess is deforest dicknecks probably don't know squat but just want to harrass and close areas to climbers since they dislike the rowdy people we can be

Those birds were on Noontime Rock in April. I have not been there since. It was definitely obivous. Also note that Noontime and Midnight Rock look like they are one single chunk of rock from many vantage points

Bring on the gorilla partners for that one. Tree climbing is more fun that rock climbing. Maybe they will make the Prana jungle pant with gorilla patterns

ok lambone you climb with a bunch of tied or sewn daisies cause folwer says. I will lead on my rope Clove hitch rules all! The rope is not as prone to tear on sharp rock asd well as stronger for that, eaier to tie in if you know what you are doing and only simplifies things if you are moving faster from my point of view. I have to disagree with mr fowler. Like I recommended just climb with 24 inch runners and use them if need be. I dont use any chalk bag crap that clips in any more after watching danimal need one on Wildcat crack and using it. Make your chalk bag holder a useful tool....... Erden, My opinion would be to fart and burp repetitively around people like that. Also cursing and being outright rude and obnoxious might help Some tips- spit on the ground scratch your ass and then offer to shake her hand stem over onto her route while she is climbing next to you Offer lots of unwanted advice including how to belay and where to place feet and such spill water from a water bottle on her shoes talk about having sex with random women from bars in detail including anal Then see who is annoyed hehe

nay i always tie into rope unless I am aid climbing. It is more efficient and faster. Daisy chains get in the way free climbing when I am grabbing for gear. It's all an opinion though...
