  1. DIE DIE DIE This shit cracks me up. I wish I would have posted what Cpt Crag had to say. Lambone he just jimmy jacked you
  2. Machete fest not a bad idea. If we could muster up 30 people I will certainly like to make this happen. If not then ...
  3. "Designate" some place as wilderness to get more people there. I like the part about making some areas wheelchair accessible. I am not discriminating but damn I dont see too many people in wheelchairs out in the mountains except for that dude who whined about not having wheelchair accessible crappers at muir.
  4. Mormom girls were sure friendly. Watch out for the silk worm webs too. But it's the damn hissing snakes and death boulder problems that stood out the most
  5. Napalm sticks to kids
  6. Monk- That's got to be true. If you climb it after me then it's way easier
  7. All right knuckleheads- IF anyone wants to thrash around marsh, thickets, bushes, devil's club, cross rivers and finally rock climb on some cool quartzite in a remote area of the rockies starting possibly this sunday or monday give a hollar. After tomorrow it is unlikely I will check back here. BTW if you read this Harmon where the heck are you in cave?
  8. I agree and that would be the Canadian Border Peak. I saw some good snow climbs off of one of the glaciers on the American Border Peak but it's going to take some motivation to get me there. So many peaks so little time.
  9. I have climbed in LC Canyon it's good stuff. Splitters everywhere and crazy highball death bouldering next to deadly snakes etc. http://www.climbingsaltlake.com/rock/ [ 08-01-2002, 10:29 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]
  10. I think most people's problems with serpentine arete are- 1: They do this route as one of their first large alpine rock climbs and expect it to be like cragging (no loose rock, well travelled and clean rock etc.) 2: They find out it is not super sustained and think it is not a good route. 3: Don't realize or think that it is actually a good climb to do as your first on the north side of this peak if you are not a hardman. You have to admit the north side of this peak is large and most routes are not as good at it's grade (5.8). [ 08-01-2002, 10:17 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]
  11. That's Space Jug now. Get it right
  12. Shoulda brought more horsecock for the bivy.
  13. Kamloops Blazers suck So does canadian beer However Canada is a climbing playground.
  14. There are american border peaks etc in that area. Rock supposedly horrible but looked cool to me as well. Snow gulleys etc. Looked like a thrash to get in from that side but hear there is a better approach. [ 08-01-2002, 09:10 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]

  22. Just past the clown shoe sole head up and left
  23. Jim has some valid points. Surprised a cell phone worked in the first place. Welcome to a Cascade summer storm. Bummer it happened. I suppose it can happen to anyone. Media is full of "Climbing Experts" that are sometimes idiots.
  24. I dont own it but I read it and respect that he has done every climb too. What a legend too! Major thumbs up and good writing. I found out I hungdog on a 5.10 pitch (fat hangdoggin is ok!).
  25. Oh yeah and we were so baked that he recognized us 2 days later (we thought who was he?) and he was not leading. Some other dude was (Co dude?). Either way have fun! [ 07-31-2002, 06:52 PM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]
