My bud just showed me his photos of Slesse today. He just did it in the past few days. I think slesse is pretty hard to beat. It sounds like the CJ couloir is certainly the fastest way to go. However the rock routes look like the plumb lines. Does everyone agree that a planned bivy is the way to go or what? Might try to climb it some day and just curious on what epics to expect. I like the looks of the 1951 route personally. The desent down the CJ couloir looks spicy

Maybe you should ask " Can you climb 5.10 at index ?" before you assume someone can climb 5.10. Even the sport climbs at index are vicious

another rambling- They can put in 18 new parking spots and 3 new crappers. But they cant saw down some deadfall\windfall etc on the trail next to those parking spots.....

If you need a tank to get into an "established trail" then I dont think the land managers are up to par. Common sense on established definition to be given. IE not the Toketie Lake trail or something...
