It's not all a bad idea I just think someone's name or etc can be singled out easily on a database and I dont want mine in there if something happens to me. What mountain was he on I dont think there is anything wrong with learning from accidents but some people gathering the "facts" dont know squat or others that might have some knowledge might just overspeculate and give erroneous info as well (assumptions). Then you get the 3rd part where people just talk smack about what they would have done or how dumb or irresponsible etc these people are. I think it's better left on a discussion instead of some database full of shithouse facts.

What you needed was the nice jamcrack on the monument and some tunneling on the boxtop. You should have done more homework. Cuz even though the weather might have turned the other peaks back there are not exactly super committing. I think I threw my rope 20 times this year when trying to hit up the monument. Yeah go for it. Those other peaks are real good climbs themselves. Mountaineering skills needed. Let me know if you summit the monument without beta Plus the Boxtop is a nice piece of granite too.

So I assume you climbed Prusik W Ridge. You mention 2 hrs climbing. Did you ever consider climbing the next 3 peaks on the ridge? Probably should have. Good stuff like tunneling through peaks and prusiking to the summit etc. Some of those towers only see a handful of ascents each year I bet. Esp the monument.

Rodents love those boulderfields.

All I can say is good luck and if you have not done it by fall I would be a willing partner with some prior knowledge doing partially to Boxtop before and know the routes I would do on the way. You know how to find me plus I got a secret hideaway.
