  1. Good job boys. Question is there a cache of cellphones on the summit yet I could use a new one. [ 08-27-2002, 02:49 PM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]

  6. I will rarely use that book. However you may often use it compared to me. I would be more inclined to go to Yosemite and buy their books for rock climbing. Just insight as to why I dont plan on buying. Good point dru.
  7. ian, alex is just very biased. I was just pointing it out. Even though I think I have invited him and danielpatricksmith probably half a dozen times they always act like it's just too much to ask. Then this alex dude acts like his beta is the only stuff worth heading. I think he's got a chip on his own shoulder as well as some of those others... That's all I am saying. I am guilty of it myself but at least I admit it.
  8. It's like a 26kilometer bike ride half up half downhill. I could not hichhike but you may have better luck. The road is dirt into slesse creek and then paved out towards chilliwack lake (best spot for hitchiking) direction, then dirt again back up to Nesakwatch Creek.
  9. Yeah gimme a buzz. Check your messages.
  10. PS dont buy the book. Go to the Alpine club and get the girls there to photocopy the topos of climbs you want to do.
  11. That's Ha Ling Peak (aka Chinaman's Peak) NE Face route 5.6 12 pitches (really like 8 pitches) It's right out of Canmore. You can take more difficult variations. The climb is detailed in Bow Valley Rock. The rack can consist of quickdraws and or pro up to 1.5 inches. The walk is about 3/4 of a mile from the road. Controversey and witty writing and photos are great entertainment added with the mountains. I think it is arguable that Mike's site has way more beta and good photos than your own Alex Anyway have fun in your silly clique. I'll be the one tokin in the Muir Hut with Alpinek and Dru. 13. I must admit I am a horrible writer. Oh well But I can take a beta photo at the right time. Not like it takes a lot though.
  14. Dru you crack me up. Just more proof alexi and those dudes are in a clique (not meshew though, he's cool ) and are busy patting each other's backs. They dont like mike. Some of those sights are great. Some downright dry and boring. There are good photos though.
  15. Make em eat Horsecock Pastas are great Spaghetti with HC and cheese (can will be used for a coffe cup!) bring back some fried chicken Mashed potatoe mix candy bars Tuna in a bag
  16. I notice how you dont mention MikeAdam's site which is full of beta and humor
  17. Spicy! Looks like you need to walk across the pocket of death Glacier I cant remember the rappels. We had twin 50m ropes though. I remember that being useful to get off the summit quickly.
  18. Dennis did not quite work out...
  19. It's really nice up there. I will be back Kinda funny that I could not find anyone to join us. Maybe next year

  24. If you dont like it then dont buy it Go lite gear is fine. You just have to be smart enough on when to take it and when not to. Also one quick look and I can usually tell what will stand up to abuse. Use some common sense.
