Scary goat scary goat. Goats like to make dirt bath wallows to control parasites and flies, so even where the humans dont pee on the ground, they will make those dirty hollows and rip up the vegetation. Arent there any mtn lions in the Olympics to control the goats or what? Cause if the lions cant do the job how the hell are the wolves going to? Mtn lion is the most effective predator out there for eating ungulates.

So, snow should be gone. vt Do Columbia from the Alberta side, way easier than going up Bush River. Cause from the west you got an 8000 foot elevation gain and thru bush, on the east you got a road to the glacier and then a gently sloping approach.

I saw three portaledges on the ZigZag wall, someone hauling a PIG into the Sunshine area, and some guy saturday evening was hammering pitons into the ZigZag wall. Funny though, if you're not at the Sunshine wall you don't see the crowds. I guess nailing Vantage gives you experience with expando? But what would you do if the whole column came off? i think the next time I go to Lworth I will pitch my ledge in the middle of Bruces Boulder to strike a pose for the Mtneers. Arent there girls on those courses I could posibly impress with my impressive Big wall skillz

stuff to do for the non-climbing spouse in squamish
Dru replied to Gerg's topic in British Columbia/Canada
The Squamuish is a big Katabatic wind that blows regularily either any time in summer it is sunny, or when there is a pressure differential with the interior, cause the valley to Pemberton cuts through the mountains. Steady winds to 60kmh are not unusual. Boardsailing at Squamish requires tiny little sails and boards and big strong arms. And a wetsuit cause Squamish River is glacial sourced and cold all year round. Those guys rip it up. it costs $10 a day to park on the jetty, too. Squamish is often drier in April, early May, wetter in late May/early june, then dry as a bone from mid-July through Sept. Check the forecast at www.ec.gc.ca for 5 day outlook. Its gonna rain this weekend. They also do kite sailing there. [ 03-28-2002: Message edited by: Dru ] -

If you rearrange Dan Larson you get Anal Dorns If you do the same thing to AlpineK you get Pink Ale. And you get Urd, or Rud, from Dru.
