I think most people are willing to give up other people's liberty for their own security. Repub's willing to give up right of dissent and right to fair trial (a la Ashcroft's anti-terror campaign). Liberals willing to give up rich people's money and rights to develop their land any way they damn please, and gun nuts' rights to own guns. People too weinerish to drive Middle Fork Sno road willing to give up rights of others to drive that road.

So you guys don't buy the argument/fear that the stretched out rope will blow away the bomber piece (as apparently happened to Goran) since the rope is now static?

That could spice up the discussion! If you had just ONE screamer, do you think it would be better to put it on the upper questionable piece or the lower bomber piece?

Michelle, Like SEF said, the real trick is in the consistent execution. You can say that you will focus on more bomber placements now. That's a good thing, but you know that you will soon come to a spot where you want a piece and there is a placement there, but you're not totally convinced it will hold. What do you do then? You can focus on the gear placement being bomber as long as you can hang out at that stance but at some point you will have to decide whether that placement is worth it. Will it help or hurt me? That's the tought part. Goran and this discussion will just make it a little tougher now for some of us until someone figures this sh*t out.
