There's a certain level of decision making that the government can't assume for adults in a functioning civilization. Choosing what kind of milk to drink, deciding whether or not to fornicate with a light-socket, etc just aren't amongst them. IMO any and all efforts beyond enforcing rules that require raw milk to be labeled as such are a massive waste of money.

we already know that current Somalia is your golden age society.

Yes. Raw milk, with labels => Somalia.

claiming that labeling of foods or all other consumer products is unnecessary is indeed akin to proposing the Somalian model of governance

Question: Should an adult that can't evaluate the risks and benefits associated with consuming *labeled* raw milk be allowed to vote, drive, etc?

your asking the question is revealing of your undemocratic ideology.

I clearly misread what you meant but it doesn't change my point that claiming industries will self-regulate is nonsense as we can see everyday around us or in the news. "Fornicating with a light socket" has nothing to do with buying raw milk knowing that it has been handled properly.

Yes, well, all that money printing the Us is doing means the US $ is also tanking.

Why don't you post some details - like what cheese you purchased, how much it cost, where it was made, and to what cheese you are comparing it to.

I can't speak to what j_b has eaten, but if you're seriously interested in checking out local cheeses, plenty of which is produced with raw milk, you might check out this list: Washington Cheesemakers Association

 I didn't know milk was one of the pillars of democracy until now.

Don't bother, he is trolling (anyway details would mean nothing to Attila). I have compared at least a dozen of the exact same types and brands of cheese made from pasteurized milk to some made from raw milk. In recent years, the comparison has been possible because customs occasionally crack down after a raw milk cheese has been imported for years, then replaced by the pasteurized kind after the crack down.

because voting isn't a pillar of democracy?

LOL. Sounds like a thorough study. Interesting how you can't name one raw milk cheese and one pasteurized cheese which you compared in this rigorous taste-test of yours.

This seems overly complicated, considering that raw milk cheese is easily accessible from domestic sources, and quite legal (assuming it's aged at least 60 days).

complicated?? more like the only possibility to compare (besides spending time in Europe) since I never encountered the same kind and brand of domestic cheese made out of both kinds of milk.
