Dane Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Go rent a 18' cat and dry suit for the weekend and then get back to us with a list. Quote
rob Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 I was trying to work in a clitoris-related "little man in the boat" bit but I couldn't come up with anything. Â Get a little help here? Quote
jon Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Give him a break he's trying to get to the fucking Catalina Wine Mixer. Quote
eldiente Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Trade you straight-up, 600 cams for my lovely boat, Lucille. Â [img:center]http://lh5.ggpht.com/_XNueStDVX8c/RkDsmb-jvcI/AAAAAAAAAS8/2O67fKmTBec/s640/IMG_0610.JPG[/img] Â Quote
olyclimber Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 I'll give you 4 offset aliens for that thing. Quote
eldiente Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 No deal on the Aliens. Unlike those things, the keel on my boat won't magically fall-off while sailing. Quote
Bronco Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 All my climbing and skiing shit for a bathtub boat. Â Â Â [img:center]http://www.boatdesign.net/gallery/data/500/bathtub-race-nanaimo-boat-man.jpg[/img] Quote
DPS Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 Thanks for all the replies. Found nice Ericson 23 with reasonable moorage. The bottom has apparently dropped out of the used sailboat market because you can get a hell of a boat for dirt cheap. Quote
mountainmandoug Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I don't think the bottom has ever been in the used sailboat market. The expensive aspect of boats is the upkeep, so they are often for sail cheep just to get out of the costs of moorage and maintenance. Have fun with her and stay above the water Dan. Quote
billcoe Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Lets see some pictures Dan! Preferably like Nate's up there with granite for a backdrop. (Howe sound?) Quote
boadman Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Lets see some pictures Dan! Preferably like Nate's up there with granite for a backdrop. (Howe sound?) Â Come on, you've got to be able to identify Squampton with more authority than that. Quote
billcoe Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Come on, you've got to be able to identify Squampton with more authority than that. Not at all. I feel lucky if I can spell my own name correctly some days and I drink to excess constantly as well with the attendant accuracy issues which accompany that. This writing approach, almost inviting corrections, gives any and all web know it alls a chance to say, "no you dumb fu*ing idiot, it's spelled...." ____" or it's this that or the other" without looking like jackasses. See, I do it for you, my bros, to keep you lookin good. Quote
DPS Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but here is a photo. There is a fair amount of work that needs to be done but generally in better shape than I am for being the same age. Quote
