TimL Posted April 24, 2002 Posted April 24, 2002 Anybody head back there last weekend or get a chance to check out route conditions? Is the snow patch on top still pouring down Outer Space & Hyperspace? Thanks. Quote
Guest Posted April 24, 2002 Posted April 24, 2002 We all think you should get your fat ass up and drive over there to check conditions yourself! What's with all this "is there snow there?" bullshit? If you want to know fucking check it yourself!! I'll give you one hint though: your mom's patch is still pouring all down her legs. Quote
goatboy Posted April 24, 2002 Posted April 24, 2002 Whatever.  Howzabout checking out: snow creek cam  I bet it's getting close to do-able, though I haven't heard of anyone climbing outer space yet this year.  Viktor??? Quote
TimL Posted April 25, 2002 Author Posted April 25, 2002 Hey Projectwussy - Thanks for the amusement. Go kick your dog next time. Maybe you can show up at the base of the SCW and have a Mud Falcon swoop down on your head? Â Goatboy - Thanks. Most times I would just check it out. This weekend my friend got a hall pass before his new baby arrives so I want to maximize climbing vs. fucking around time. Â Thanks. Quote

bobbyperu Posted April 26, 2002 Posted April 26, 2002 as of last sunday outerspace was the place... dry, sunny, only one other party, well worth headin up to. everything else on the wall looked good too, the descent was snow free and dry. some dead fall on the way up after crossing sno creek, but otherwise a great place to spend the day. all three of got ticks too, so bring up your Hearts 24 hour collars and you'll be set. enjoy Quote
Retrosaurus Posted April 26, 2002 Posted April 26, 2002 Climbed Outerspace yesterday afternoon (for the 30th? time ). The trail is a mess; the rock is pristine. Watched peregrin falcons from library ledge. Soaring. Tucking. Diving. Inspiring animals they are. They seemed to be most active in the neighborhood of Hyperspace. Â bobbyperu's info is right on. Scored a red alien that someone had left on the 3rd pitch and cleaned off about 30 feet of rap sling arranged in imaginative clusterfucks. Oh yeah, ticks. Lots of ticks. Quote
rayborbon Posted April 26, 2002 Posted April 26, 2002 Mitchosaurus, Â Sounds like fun. Ticks are my friends! I saw 4 of them Falcons last Saturday coming from Noon Time rock. Pretty amazing and loud. Looks like a successful nesting has occured there. Â Perhaps if they are nesting on Snow Creek Wall then maybe the climbing area could get closed? Quote
yngeagle Posted April 29, 2002 Posted April 29, 2002 Conditions are great on snow creek wall.... Outerspace is dry.....no drips, when I was on outerspace it looked like there might be some water on hyperspace. Quote
Dru Posted April 29, 2002 Posted April 29, 2002 train falcons to hunt ticks. then falcons will flourish, ticks will be exterminated, and everyone but Bug is happy. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted April 29, 2002 Posted April 29, 2002 Man those falcons will hunt you if they want. Shit they can be aggressive even when you are not close by  Get the tick training going Quote
specialed Posted April 29, 2002 Posted April 29, 2002 Hyperspace is all dry, except for the crux offwidth feet dangling slit. Its wet but suprisingly still doable. Quote
