Fairweather Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 This is, like, last month's news. Will you please ask Joe Biden how many letters there are in J-O-B-S? Or who the best candidate for VP would have been? Or how soon we'll be attacked if Obama becomes president? Or how a paraplegic man should stand for an ovation? Or what article 1 of the Constitution says? Or how FDR reassured Americans in 1929 on Television that didn't yet exist? Or.... Quote

korup Posted October 25, 2008 Author Posted October 25, 2008 I heard the news when you did, second hand. It's even more staggering to get it straight from the horse's mouth. Quote

The only difference is ...Biden's going to be vice president, and your candidate is going to remain the laughing stock of everyone in the population who is more than halfway evolved. Quote

Halfway to what? Thanks for revealing what little you understand about evolution. And speaking of women who would have been a better choice than Palin; I watched a Jeri Thompson (former candidate Fred Thompson's much younger wife) in an interview the other night. Twice as hot and 10 times as smart/articulate as the gov. Wow. And I'm still wondering why McCain didn't pick Kay Bailey-Hutchison. Quote

marylou Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 And I'm still wondering why McCain didn't pick Kay Bailey-Hutchison. Uh, YEAH, or maybe Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, or Christie Todd Whitman. Would have been a much different race. That said, it's entirely possible they all said "thanks, but no thanks". When you have guys like Christopher Buckley, Scott McClellan, and Colin Powell all endorsing the other guy, ya gotta wonder. At least McCain's still got Joe Lieberman and Joe the Plumber... Quote
marylou Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I missed this on Friday, was out of town, but apparently Palin gave some sort of a policy speech about meaningful money for kids with disabilites/ ADA compliance in general, and trashed fruit fly research in the process. Fruit fly research is a big part of genetic research work, including autism. Nice work, research team. Quote
Fairweather Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Did you catch anything with all of your flies? Quote
marylou Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Yes I did, not that it matters or anything. Some nice trout still out there. Quote
Dechristo Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Some nice trout still out there. Pardon me. I didn't realize my fly was open. Quote
joblo7 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 yeah,we got all the flies we need , thanks Quote
