billcoe Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I thought this would be an interesting corollary to the Obama Momma thread where everyone is thinking she hates our country and all going on right now. I'm sure she'll feel better about our country as First Lady. Compare and contrast comments welcome. Snopes, the well known independent online fraud checking site, has this post about the other woman. Link to Snopes Edited to add: I'm leaning to Obama now, but that could change when I change my underware. Quote
akhalteke Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Sounds like a stand-up lady who got addicted to narcotics after being prescribed them. If you knew how common this was, you might not be so quick to jump on her [sic] back. Quote
rob Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I agree with you totally. But, if she was the wife of a democratic candidate, would you be so supportive, I wonder? Quote
akhalteke Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 More than likely not. I think that keeping eachother in check is a good thing. If not, I might be the next racist senator that you guys are talking shit about when I die. Quote

tvashtarkatena Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 (edited) I posted a wiki story about Cindy a while back. What struck me was not her life, which is a mixed bag (drug addiction which lead to theft, questionable memory lapses about her role in the Keating 5 scandal, charitable works) but how much of a fucking shitbag McCain is regarding his cheating on his last wife, including having an affair with Cindy while he was still married. That speaks loads about someone's moral character. Feel free not to bring up Clinton, as you never fail to do, my conservative friends. He's irrelevant to this discussion. We're talking about today's candidates. Fortunately, neither my candidate of choice nor his wife suffer from these major questions of character that involve fidelity to those closest to you, which speaks to truthfulness, and criminality. I can focus more on his policy decisions without having to spend much energy worrying about how fucking crazy he or his wife is. Edited July 9, 2008 by tvashtarkatena Quote
akhalteke Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Bet your ass Tvash. I will not vote for him just based on that. If he can't keep faithfull to his wife whom he loves, how can he shoot straight with my ugly ass? Quote
