OlympicMtnBoy Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 What better thing to put in spray! It's funny what you find when you google yourself. I had no idea! Now I'm gonna have to find a copy. Ok, please continue spraying. Quote
billcoe Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 What is the AAJ. Either the Association of Assorted Jerkoffs, or the American Alpine Journal. Probably the latter. Congrats! Quote
layton Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 What is the AAJ. can credibility points dive into negative numbers? Quote
OlympicMtnBoy Posted December 6, 2007 Author Posted December 6, 2007 What is the AAJ. Either the Association of Assorted Jerkoffs, or the American Alpine Journal. Thank Bill, I've been in the former every year since I was like 9 and learned how. It took me till 2005 to make the latter, and 2007 to find out about it. Quote
archenemy Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Congrats on being in the Journal--that is super! Quote
OlympicMtnBoy Posted December 6, 2007 Author Posted December 6, 2007 I now expect women to worship me and throw themselves at my feet and men to buy me beer in the hopes I shall reveal some super alpinist secrets. If my head still fits through the door I might go climb something someday again too. :-) Quote
sexual_chocolate Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 What is the AAJ. can credibility points dive into negative numbers? i don't know.... the aaj is fairly credible, as far as alpinism goes. cheers! Quote

Blake Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 I think probably at least 20 cc.com regulars have been. What was the climb OMB? Quote
OlympicMtnBoy Posted December 7, 2007 Author Posted December 7, 2007 The route wasn't really that amazing, more of a nice warmup for someone else after we cleaned it and bolted the anchors. It was a nice line, but likely only a new start as it met up with another route on the shoulder of the peak. I guess that it was in Kyrgyzstan helps. You can read the entry for "Everything is Normal" here . Chris said he submitted a write-up but they weren't interested, I guess it made it after all. I was just kind of surprised today to google myself and see the AAJ pop up. :-) Now I'm gonna have to go back and do something bigger there. Quote

If my head still fits through the door I might go climb something someday again too. :-) Well when I found out that I was in the AAJ last year, the only women who were wanting to worship me, were the skanky prostitues at the local clubs and all the beers that were purchase were by me, "My friend, my friend, buy me a beer". Hopefully for your sake this has to do with the fact that I am a muzungu (rich white dude in Africa, didn't you all know if your white your rich?). Quote
Dechristo Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 I think probably at least 20 cc.com regulars have been. What was the climb OMB? I'd multiply that estimate by, maybe, ten. How'd that fucking poseur get in here? I thought AAJ inclusion was mandatory for membership here. Quote

pope Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 What is the AAJ. That's gotta be the quote of the week. Kev, it's kind of like Urban Climber or Sport Wankers Weekly except it reports real climbing and does not cover happenings at Smith Rock. Quote
