Even stranger: Lower Snow Lake is FULL...and FROZEN OVER. Who knew Global Warming could be so localized?

Compare Upper and Lower Snow Lakes in this photo. Clearly there is an invisible energy beam eminating from outer space or similar phenomenon that is evaporating the former.

They use the water from Upper Snow to keep the 11worth hatchery in water. If you come up fom the Snow Lake side on the trail you can see evidence of this in the boulder field between Nada and Lower Snow. Way off to hiker's left there is a drainpipe thing squirting straight out of the side of the hill that is part of the system to get the water out of Upper Snow and a mile or so downhill to the hatchery.
