sobo Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 "if you treat her right no man will ever be allowed to treat her wrong" I like that. I think I will put that at the bottom of a poster I am making of my little girl. Thanks muff Women (or mothers, at least) must be born knowing that. My wife said the same thing two years ago when we brought Elaina home. And it's all true! Quote

kevbone Posted August 3, 2007 Author Posted August 3, 2007 Has anyone said this string really ROCKS! I have a couple times. I love hearing about other father stories and pictures of cute babies. Quote
MATT_B Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 This is my little man. Being a dad is the best thing I have ever done. I spent some time last night in the wee hours of the evening feeding his little sister (one month old today). When she finished she just layed on my chest, eyes wide open looking at me for 20 minutes or so before she finally went to sleep. Melted my heart. Enough of this mushy stuff, Dad is still the enforcer Quote

Thanks muff i wish someone would have told my dad that every day for the past 5 years i have watched a girl at my boys school get walked to class by her dad. he carries her back pack for her and walks her all the way into class. it seems like they have a little ritual. time that she gets of her dad's. it seems really special. i would love to see all little girls have time like that with their dads. TREETOAD Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 IF you want to be really good to your kids, get rid of your television set. Quote
Dechristo Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 She was a level-headed dancer on the road to alcohol And I was just a soldier on my way to Montreal Well she pressed her chest against me About the time the juke box broke Yeah, she gave me a peck on the back of the neck And these are the words she spoke Chorus: Blow up your T.V. throw away your paper Go to the country, build you a home Plant a little garden, eat a lot of peaches Try an find Jesus on your own Well, I sat there at the table and I acted real naive For I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve Well, she danced around the bar room and she did the hoochy-coo Yeah she sang her song all night long, tellin' me what to do Repeat chorus: Well, I was young and hungry and about to leave that place When just as I was leavin', well she looked me in the face I said "You must know the answer." "She said, "No but I'll give it a try." And to this very day we've been livin' our way And here is the reason why We blew up our T.V. threw away our paper Went to the country, built us a home Had a lot of children, fed 'em on peaches They all found Jesus on their own Quote
