jmace Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I was thinking up and down by noon, at this point its just watch and see but there is a good possibilty that it will be dry untill noon. I will get up in the morning and have a look at the sattelite then hopefully fire off do you know if the apron is dry or drying up enough for a jaunt tomorrow? Oh ec seems to be pushing it back a bit as well, they are now studying the new 12z models and will update their forecast with the new data at 4 pm. Cheers Quote
David Trippett Posted June 8, 2007 Author Posted June 8, 2007 the bluffs are pretty dry right now.... Quote
murraysovereign Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Agreed - it's been pretty nice all day, dry and warmish with occasional outbreaks of sunny. We had a bit of light rain overnight, but nothing serious. If it doesn't rain overnight again, then you should be able to run up something tomorrow morning before that system hits. Quote
ZimZam Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 you can come and join me for some e/coast humidity. Quote
murraysovereign Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Looking at the forecast and the satellite shots, Sunday afternoon will probably be ideal for beer testing. Quote
jmace Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 system came in just a wee too fast..ah well back to the gym Quote
G-spotter Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 if ever there was a good weekend for staying at home and vomiting, this is it Quote
spicoli11 Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Shit stream for sure. I will be surfing 8ft windslop Quote
marylou Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Any weekend called off for weather is a wasted weekend you will never get back in your life. ...if you don't have any other interests. There's plenty going on here, and I have no plans to go outside except to get to my car. Quote
pope Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 On the average, you'll get a week of good weather in February, two weeks in May, and great weather mid-July through the second or third week of October. The rest of the year is nasty. Wet rock and crappy snow. Get a mountain bike! No partner or dry weather necessary. No farting around in a dusty gym all winter. No lift fees or lines to wait in. And you probably won't get killed doing it. It will keep you strong enough to climb 5.10 off the couch come July. Quote
mattp Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 It looks like a little break is headed our way but the firehose remains aimed straight at us. There's a seathing stream coming from SE Asia. It hasn't much changed sinced yesterday. check it out Quote

KaskadskyjKozak Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 it rained on me the whole time i was watching baseball today *sigh* it was wet and cold but it was fun any way +1 Quote
Chad_A Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 I don't know, Stefan. If I was hoping to climb something big I think I'd consider the forecast this weekend. you might have to alter your plans....but you can still climb something. Any weekend called off for weather is a wasted weekend you will never get back in your life. OR, I can stay home, stay dry, save my gas money, drink wine, and have sex with my girlfriend..... Quote
i_like_sun Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Forget June. The months of September, October, November, December, January, March, April, and most of May were all let downs too! Lets see what happens with now through forever. Quote
