WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

This ones already in the gallery but may as well be brought to the fore front.

Me at Devils Tower in 1987. What a killer job, I got my cake and could eat it too.

That's pretty bold, Raindawg!

Posting a picture of you and your wife picking your noses!

...not that there's anything wrong with that...

Billy, I know about your roots! :eveeel: Sorry to say, I didn't take any pics of the old Gendarme before it fell.

Or are you referring to the climbing store?

Man, this flatbed scanner has launched me into a nostalgia trip. I have to admit, I'm partial to black and white photography... Here's some more shots from Seneca circa 1979-80:

That'd be me ...27 years ago. I look, uh, different now.

I remember topping out on a slippery .10 arete with sketchy gear at Seneca, to encounter a wedding party: complete with full families and in formal regalia, just taking their vows.

The couple and the preacher had climbed up, and the rest of the party had hiked around.

We got a glass of wine!
