It's hard enough to try to explain how something should work, then when you get it back from them and it does something else entirely you have to explain it all over again. By the time the thing work the way you want it to, you basically wrote the whole fucking program by yourself in pseudo-code, and might as well have done the whole thing in basic the first time round :anger: :anger:

All those fucking guys care about in our company is how cool their code is. They don't care when they start writing it if we even want it, they just try to push it on us afterwards. What a waste of billable hours.

If they are not making what you want, then you are not working with them closely enough.

 

Try Scrum methods rather than giving your requirements to them.

 

I think the dude I'm working with is a little dense. The kid that came in and did the quote with us had the system down to a 'T'. It's hard when you have to talk to an adult like he's a teenager :P

That's no accident. We take bets on how many times we can get you and your buddies to clarify the specs. My record is 11. Slip your dev a 50 next time to offset his loses and he'll hook you up. SShhh! :tup:
