Keith_Henson Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Kevin Remarkable-extraordinary! You have truly turned your camera into a device for producing art--not just a photographic document. Beautiful. Quote

rbw1966 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Another thumbs up for some great work. I may contact you about some prints. Â That picture of Ginger sitting next to your pack brought tears to my eyes. She reminds me of my golden that I lost last year at the ripe old age of 13. Quote
JayB Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I may be in touch about some prints as well. Quote
foraker Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Kevin, as someone with a 4x5 and a darkroom, my hat's off to you. You do great work. Quote
matopis Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Wow, I'm planning a trip now for the North Cascades after seeing those pictures of mount terror! Great Job. Quote
powdrx Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 AWESOME!!! If anyone wasn't a NCascade enthusiast, this should sway their opinion!! Thanks stoking up my monotonous Friday afternoon. Quote
brobra Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Very nice work. If your not a pro you should be. Many of your shots would be poster material. Thanks for the link Quote
cheamclimber Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 i absolutely love the shot of Pi Pillar Quote
vagrant Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 One photographer to another, these are quite beautiful.I assume you're shooting digital? I shoot an old olympus OmG and print everything by hand in black and white (I'm old school), so I have to say that I really appreciate that in your black and white images the blacks are actually black, and the highlights aren't blown out. I'll probably PM you about a print, too. Beautifully composed, beautifully lit shots - beautiful subject matter Quote
wayne Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Interesting how this thread revived after my link? Â I found out a bit about Mr Thurner since I saw his photos. He is a very dedicated 'gragher with a penchant for summit bivies. It is unbelievable that he captured Fury so well-from Despair! It is a cool thing to bring art to our little hobby! Quote
