On the morning of the 8th, we set out from the Agnes Creek trail, and climbed to the Chickamin Glacier where we set up camp for a few days in the "Patagonia of the North Cascades."

 

Beautiful photos. Very enticing.

 

A friend and I are planning a trip into the area for next summer. You guys made to the Chikamin pretty fast. Any approach hints you'd like to share to avoid unnecessary shrubbery?
