Feel free to jump in Alaskalegs. Person who's first name I forgot- I've no idea if it's a he, a she, a megladon, an attack unicorn or a trained psychotic dolphin. Only that someone known as 'Laura' from Goodweed, AK posted a link to this discussion on telemarktwits. That link was subsequently gardened out of existance by the great truthsayer. Quote

A link to this thread has been posted on the sugarloafer/freeheelwilly thread in the OT Forum since Wednesday. It's still there. I briefly posted another link to this thread on the main forum last night, because it appeared that none of them were on to all of you. I gutted my post and deleted the link late last night after having second thoughts. Sometimes ignorance is bliss, and after all, they do sing a pretty damn good chorus of Kumbaya. Quote
olyclimber Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 yes dear....and sometimes a free heel is bliss to. i'm support your right to free your heels, garden, fall in love all over again with rainbows, miniature pony grooming, and of course to Kumbaya. But....are you really one of "them"? Quote
LongLegsInAlaska Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 No, I'm more of a foam-fest sort of woman. Quote
LongLegsInAlaska Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 And be an accomplice to thread drift? Goodnight. And Oly, put the keyboard down and get a life. Quote
olyclimber Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 thread drift is the curse of humanity. good luck, and don't say no one on this board loved you. BTW, I could not find Goodweed on any map. Quote
ZimZam Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 You must renounce the teletubbies. You'll cleanes your soul and feel much better. Quote
G-spotter Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 it has been said that along with gunpowder, silk, and beautiful women, the Chinese invented telemarking. Quote
EWolfe Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I think we should have a good old rumble! Winner advances to next round against winner of Mountaineers .vs NW Hikers Quote
G-spotter Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Goodweed is so racially integrated, eh. It's almost as good as Where's Waldo! Quote
LongLegsInAlaska Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Here's an interesting thread you all might want to check out over at Telemarktips: http://www.telemarktalk.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=22829 Funny that no one has posted anything about this yet on your forum. Are you sure this is a climbing forum? Quote
G-spotter Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 you might not have noticed but climbing is the opposite of falling. Quote
AlpineK Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Skiing is an aspect of climbing, and I'm all for it, but it's hardly the main focus of this site. Now if somebody went for a tumble skiing down Liberty Ridge I bet there would be a big brouhaha. How come you choose a style of skiing that pretty much makes you a granola chewing whiny ass vegan when you could be on AT gear and be a hot rippin chick? (if you are a female) Quote
AllYouCanEat Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Don't hurt me lass. I know exactly who is to blame for that "Worst Sunburn Thread"....and guess what? They both telemark. That's ah .... Burn Classic. Quote
ashw_justin Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 #1 most compelling aspect of telemarking is the sex appeal. Think, you could be skiing in company such as this: http://www.kasharigby.com Quote

LongLegsInAlaska Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 This is just begging to be linked to from said forum. Don't forget the "OT: Oh no, not AGAIN!! Another single and frustrated thread" Posted by a chick from Alaska, a state where a friend of mine who lives there claims "You have to fuck fat eskimos around here to get laid" And don't forget about this thread: http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/threadz/s...true#Post440063 A lot of angst in that thread posted by all you manly climbers. But the thread seemed so much like the thread on Telemarktips. Are you sure this is a climbing forum? Quote
G-spotter Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Mike isn't really a climber (just like you) but we can't drive him away so instead we tolerate him. Do you have this measuring complex about other things? are you going to tell us that The Nodder is on TeleTwats next? Quote
