I think he can still rock when he wants to but I have not seen him live for about ten years. Though he DID travel with Pearl Jam, I bet most people who are buying Rage against the Machine cd's are not looking to Neil Young for real rock and I actually like his Harvest Moon CD as much as I like the more rocking Crazy Horse stuff.

did you listen to the last album? you could put a baby to sleep with it. i'm not saying it isn't "good", it just isn't for me.

I'm not surprised. I wasnt overly impressed with the little bit I just heard on this one, either. But THE MAN is awesome! He's released a ton of good stuff and I've seen him put on a great show.

 

With Crazy Horse he totally rocked the Gorge about ten years ago.
