Dave_Schuldt Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 PC has been kind of thin lately. Was thinking about a Golden Gardens PC in early Augest. Don't think I can make it tomarow. Quote
AlpineK Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I'd like to see a Pub Club where DS wasn't always considered the MC. Quote
olyclimber Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I think it is almost time for another party at your house. Quote
snugtop Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 So...Wayne...you have pictures of Snugtop to show at the pubclub? Â I only have pictures of Wayne1111. Quote
faster_than_you Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Could have PC down in Tacoma so that folks can attend the memorial at the Tac Mountaineers... I'm part Irish, we love a good drink during/after the wake/memorial... Just a suggestion... Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I'd like to see a Pub Club where DS wasn't always considered the MC. Â So MC it then. Quote
tread_tramp Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Well it's 5:00 Tuesday; Anyone want to show at Shultzys on the Ave. Â Â 4114 University Way NE Seattle, WA 98105-6214 (206) 548-9461 Â Â Quote
klenke Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Schedule it now Pub Club at the outside patio at the Ballroom on Tuesday (7/26). Come have a ball. Temps are supposed to be in the 80s on Tuesday. Quote
dkemp Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Hey, I can make it this time - whoo hoo! I'll regale you stories of my 5.4 leads. It'll have you on the edge of your seat!  re·gale 1. To provide with great enjoyment; entertain. Quote
snugtop Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Now's where someone starts complaining it's not at Lil Si/Golden Gardens/the Nickerson, etc... Quote
Toast Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 So let's do this at Golden Gardens... perfect weather after all. Quote
snugtop Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Now's where random people start posting that they will be doing something else and won't be attending... Quote
dkemp Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Now's where random people start posting that they will be doing something else and won't be attending... Â Does this mean I wont get to regale anyone with stories of my 5.4 leads? Done in impeccable style mind you (look Ma, no knees! ) Quote
mattp Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Snugtop, Â I thought this was where you were going to post about how you have to empty that freezer of yours and there'll be about ten nice thick steaks on the grill for the first ten people who show up. Â I think there are no fires allowed out at Golden Gardens these days, but grills might be allowed. Â The Ballroom is half-way pleasant on a warm summer evening, too.. Quote
klenke Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Geez, I try to put my foot down but random people keep yanking it back up. People often don't show cuz we haggle over the venue for so damn long. Â Doxey: I'll meet you at the Ballroom patio. I plan on arriving around 7:00PM. That's where I'll be. If others of you wish to make an appearance, have at it. That's tomorrow (Tu) at 7PM, not tonight. Quote
mattp Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 The outdoor seating will be sunny 'till almost 8:00.  The Ballroom 456 N. 36th St  Its on the north side of the street, a block or two west of the Lenin statute in Fremont. Quote
catbirdseat Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 The Ballroom is the one that doesn't have pitchers where we willstrickland came to visit last year, right? Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 They have pitchers unless somethigs changed from last year. I will be there. Quote
mattp Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Their website says they have pitchers. Â We have in the past had some problems with the servers having a bad attitude, and I suppose that comes from the fact that the place is a major meat factory on Friday and Saturday nights so they maybe get a bit jaded with large crowds and stuff. But the outside seating area is quite pleasant and Fremont seems to be the center of gravity for those who like to go out on Tuesday nights. Â Center of the Universe? That's a bit grandiose. And I thought Ballard was the center of the Universe, anyway. But the Ballroom is not a bad place and Fremont is "central" (in a NW Seattle kind of way). Quote
snugtop Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 The Ballroom...I got kicked out of there once! Oh, those were the days! Quote
icegirl Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 is it gonna be a snug-club time? If she goes I'll go  no, that place that Klenke met his girlfriend Stella with no pitcher was next door to the Ballroom... Quote
