catbirdseat Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Anyone want to try this again? It will have been two weeks. If we asked really nicely, I'd bet we could get some pretty women to show up. The ladies say they'll come if lots of people come. What do you say, ladies?
fenderfour Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 I think you need to sound less creepy if you really want women to show.
Kitergal Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 can't make it next week!! sorry!! have a hott date!
Harry_Pi Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Hello capitalist! Fuckin weirdos. Thank you for all me to post.
Dan_Larson Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Try Andy's Diner I will be your server/bartender.I just gave notice to move on to a private club and I know they won't serve riff raff. So if you want come on by, first one is on me
AlpineK Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Andy's Diner!!! I loved that place when I was a kid; it doesn't get any better than eating on a train.
Dan_Larson Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I turned a woman into a lesbian at that bar several years ago
mattp Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Would that be this place? I’ve heard rumor of the place that was built out of train cars, but their description never did it justice. I mean, how could it. The hey day of Andy’s Diner was almost 25 to 30 years ago, but you can visit it now and enjoy all of the great atmosphere, artwork, and noir of the Oriental Express... ...you should come here. I have said this in the past, but you need to get in your car, drive down to South Seattle and give them some of your money. You will not regret it. I give Andy’s Diner 5 Martini Glasses out of 5. Service is friendly and familiar, and the portions large. The New York steak sandwich special at lunch is simply that -- a generous slab of grilled steak on a bun, served with a green salad of iceberg lettuce and croutons ($8.95). The fish and chips are moist, golden-fried chunks of fresh cod ($7.95). Burgers are a good bet at $6.50 to $8, particularly the Bleu Jack with crumbled blue cheese. Cold sandwiches go for a cool $6. ... Andy's Diner, 2963 Fourth Ave. S., 206-624-4097. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. It sounds worth a visit.
Dan_Larson Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Thats the place. Tues. nites are usually dead unless the Seafair Pirates are holding a meeting, probably not this week however they were just there.1 mi. s. of qwest field on the right.
mattp Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Wednesday Do we get to have our burgers delivered by train?
AlpineK Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I'm totally down with Andy's, but we might want to pick a location for later on. Or I suppose we could go earlier.
specialed Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I turned into a lesbian at that bar several years ago
AlpineK Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I'm thinking you wouldn't have to work too hard to turn a woman into a lesbian at the Wild Rose.
Dan_Larson Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Strange place that Wild Rose. No one would dance with me.All the guys were fat and had these really screwed up 12yo boy moustaches. (peach fuzz)Many of them had these tattoos of cats in various poses with the words I LOVE PUSSY written below
AlpineK Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Andy's Diner, 2963 Fourth Ave. S., 206-624-4097. If there's enough people who want to do something after 9 we could either go to the Owl and Thistle or there's a place over by the Sears/SODO/Starbucks bldg. It's a dive, but I know the Owner and the manager there. Chuck you can call my cell if you're getting there late.
Dan_Larson Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 The Kitchen closes at 9 I can keep the bar open if there are a few people there.
catbirdseat Posted March 29, 2005 Author Posted March 29, 2005 If you can keep it open until about 10 pm, that should be good enough for most folks.
Dan_Larson Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 (edited) No problem, 10 sounds good , however I will probably have to start drinking around 9 if everyone I have pissed off shows Remember this is a class joint we have pull tabs. What time do people usually come to these things?I go on shift at 5 Edited March 29, 2005 by Dan_Larson
Dan_Larson Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Very sorry guys I went to work today tried to give 2 weeks notice and my less than professional boss got pissed and told me to go ahead and leave now.Sorry for any inconvenience , hope I got to all of you soon enough.Dan
AlpineK Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Well that sucks, but it's too late to change plans so Andy's it is.
