glacier Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Traffic on 3rd Avenue is moving smoothly, although there appears to be some construction at 3rd and Blanchard. Conditions dry, with some wind. Skiing will be pretty bony, and slow. Quote
Dru Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 MEC was fucking intense today. Someone was buying a WHOLE RACK at the climbing counter. How many times do you see that? Usually its just someone buying a harness or shoes. But noooo, this guy had to compare EVERY BRAND OF CAMS MEC CARRIES! It took like 30 minutes before I could get thru to Weeder at the counter and hassle him about his climbing-preventing injuries (which were incurred HIKING! what a looser lol) Quote
Billygoat Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Well, most tubers are high in nutrients and the Burdock Route is particularly good for treating hemorrhoids when used topically. Â Right now I feel pretty mellow Quote
gapertimmy Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Is there snow on lots of the high alpine routes? What is the snow like? Is it mushy? Has anyone been on any good routes in the past week that can give me some beta? Quote

slothrop Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 That guy is on the terrorist watch list now for sure. Quote
glacier Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Route condition update - the construction site at 3rd and Blanchard has shut down for the day, so no lane restrictions so it looks like the descent route will be clear. Some sun on route, but not enough to make asphalt mushy. Quote
