JoshK Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 To further deflate your balloon, I heard from several sources that Alex Lowe was a dick. There is no best climber, there will always be someone way better than you, although it certainly isn't the mounties. Funny, I met a guy who knew him and he thought he was a very friendly and personable guy. The one guy everybody seems to agree is a dick is Mark Twight. Quote
Dru Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 do you think my wand flagging matches my helmet?????? Quote

Dave_Schuldt Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 There was a whole shitload of them at MT Erie this weekend. They would have made a great picture but I couldn t get the camera out fast enough. Gators and all. One of my climbing partners is a Montie, I have to watch what I say. What the hell Dave please I have seen them mounties out in action and they don't move fast at all. Oh wait just a second, I see I see, you were part of that mountie group. I have not, am not or ever will be a Mountie member. 8 of them had an epic on Gye Peak this weekend. Quote

olyclimber Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 There are some many things wrong with this picture! 1. The guy on the left forgot to put on his harness! Free solo! 2. He's wearing gaitors on a rock climb! 3. Are they sharing a sandwich? Quote
fenderfour Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 Don't need a harness or a rope when you are 4 feet off the ground. FYI - those are cookies read the caption. There is no excuse for the gaiters. Really. At least he isn't wearing rock shoes with gaiters. Quote
olyclimber Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Cookies? What caption? It's about time you showed up. Quote
