Rodchester Posted February 18, 2002 Posted February 18, 2002 Hmmmm, maybe Dru? I wonder if the self appointed ethics police will attack this guy for his shameless self promotion. Clearly he has set out to become a media darling Can you belive anyone would do a slide show at a TNF store? Shame Shame Shame. Someone will now accuse him of killing his spouse, another will homopobically challenge his sexuality, you know the normal gutless postings. Don't take me too serious...spray away anyway. Quote
AlpineK Posted February 18, 2002 Posted February 18, 2002 I saw a Carlos Bueler slide show one time. There was this guy dressed head to toe in North Face gear who kept telling everyone that Carlos was his best friend. Was that Rodchester? Quote
Rodchester Posted February 18, 2002 Posted February 18, 2002 AlpineK: No that was you. We all know you secretly wear TNF products everywhere. You wear the long undies to bed every noght wishing you were like the sponsored guys. You know the funny thing is I have never even seen a slide show by carlos. (I know you were kidding, I am just thinking out loud.) [ 02-18-2002: Message edited by: Rodchester ] Quote
jon Posted February 18, 2002 Posted February 18, 2002 Hey I'm about to go to the TNF outlet in an hour, does anyone one want anything? I know Dru wants a Met 5. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 18, 2002 Posted February 18, 2002 Yeah pick me up a sponsorship app. I am going to swim across the Bering Sea and need some new gear. Quote
Dru Posted February 18, 2002 Posted February 18, 2002 grab me some PacLite cause my bog roll is looking kinda small and i might need some good wipe. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted February 18, 2002 Posted February 18, 2002 I just spyed on TNF reading all of our spray on this here. Hey over there! Gimme some gear! I need one of those vehicles you make. Oh yeah throw in some other stuff like tents or something! Quote
texplorer Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 I am sure Jeremy will show slides of some epic scary class 2 sections of the trail. IMO there is nothing wrong with selling out though. If you get free stuff but have to say the fat guy at the TNF store is your friend who gives a shit. Everyone who knows you will know your a bad ass. imorris Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 But when will they have these talks at their new Beverly Hills store? Check it:web page Hilarious. Quote
payaso Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 I've climbed with Jeremy also and he's a really nice guy and knows his stuff. I must admit that Beverly Hills store would be hilarious to go into sometime! Many years ago I went into the TNF store down in Costa Mesa, a stones throw from the surfers at the beach, and looked at down suits and shit. I thought that was pretty funny until I walked by the Quicksilver store in downtown Seattle the other day to see them selling surf attire here in the middle of Winter. The whole marketing and image thing is amazing! Quote
Mike Posted February 20, 2002 Posted February 20, 2002 I've climbed with Jeremy - he gets out alot and he's a super nice guy. That being said - spray away! Nobody posts on this site unscathed! Since they're giving away food, does the original post count as spam? Quote
