Okay, a SLIGHT problem in that reporting.

The banner states:

"One-third of Germans under age 30 believe the U.S. government may have sponsored the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington,"

While, in fact, the real wording of the questions was:

"Asked whether they believed the U.S. government could have ordered the September 11 attacks . . ."

i.e. Would the US have been capable not is it possible that .

Figure out your fuckin MODALS people madgo_ron.gif

i noticed that about the wording of the poll too. i wonder what the original wording in german was.

but, most of my extended family is german, and we still all keep in touch, and some of us on this side of the pond had noticed immediately after 9/11 that our cousins (the middle aged ones, not the older aunts and uncles) seemed to think the US had brought 9/11 upon themselves, and it was part of a general attitude about US foreign policy. not a representative sample, but i saw the train of thought. i didn't agree with their assessment.

That's why opinion polls are flawed. It's all semantic. You're asked one thing, but something else is reported.

vatch out for da Schroeder Yoof, dey have vays of making you talk

Nice group shot of Der Fuehrer, Reichsmarshall Goering, and Dr. Goebbels. A few well-placed shots with an M1 Garand would have solved a bunch of problems right there.

Would you recommend the M1C or M1D?

Steve McQueen would have successfully jumped the barbed wire, rode to Berchtesgaden, snuck up and smoked all three, plus Bormann, and been out of there.

But the real question is, since the photo predates McQueen's masterpiece Bullitt, would he have arrived at the location on two wheels in his '68 Mustang GT?

No, on the motorcycle he stole when he broke out of the prison camp in "The Great Escape". Hello, he's already in Germany. Why escape, go to the U.S., start a successful business, and THEN travel back to Germany and wack Hitler and three members of his inner circle?

He didn't; that's my point. He would have , which intimates that he did not. But we're not really dealing with reality here, are we chuck, so we can decide anything we want.
