Stefan Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Keep it in perspective. I love playing tennis, but lets face it--I'm not playing at Wimbledon. I'm a bald headed hacker who has a day job. Dr. Phil keeps us real. Quote

kitten Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Worry is like a rocking chair: it will give you something to do but it won't get you anywhere. Quote

Skiing at the Olympics is suck. Long, rhythmic, continuous runs in powder, away from the resorts is what skiing is really about. If you haven't made it there yet, well THAT should be your goal. If you have. There should be nothing more to desire from skiing, except to do it again. My 2 cents. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 lol. but ... you know i meant the games, right? (i'm really a chairlift whore!) Quote
E-rock Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Yeah, I meant the games too. I missed the whole double entendre. The Olympic mountains are not suck. Thought I haven't skied in them yet. Just trying to say that there's no better feeling than skiing 2000+ vertical feet of powder, not even a gold-medal could compare (thought I'm sure gold-medalists could argue better than I could). sk Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Dr. Phil is a quack "imperfection is what allows us to find holds on the rock. If rock were perfect, there would be no climbing it" -hey, I say that Quote

Sloth_Man Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Winter sailing rules. Although, since I still haven't got the engine into my boat yet I didn't get out this winter at all. But it rules, really, honest,... I did it once............long ago Summer is for climbing unless you can get to the Straights of Juan De Fuca, other wise summer in southern PS is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
