icegirl Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Have I missed this week's discussion on the whereabout of the Pub Club? Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Nope I hold the destination reserved. Submit suggestions but Beck knows a place on Mercer Island. Wait until later today. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Update: I cannot go once again. Personal things take precedence. IceGirl all yours Quote
AlpineK Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Fuck MI land of uptight fucks. Since caveman can't come how about someplace cool like Ballard!!! Quote
hikerwa Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 I'm ok with ballard, but I always like downtown, cause I'm lazy, and if Dave P is gonna be around he prefers to be closer to the ferry dock. I'm pretty open to suggestions...Even Mercer Island would be cool... And I NEED beer this week! Quote

Beck Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Come on AlpineK, You'd probably fit in with all those uptight f**ks on Mercer Island- obviousily, you've not been to the Roanoke Tavern, the oldest business on Mercer Island and not uptight at all. More like a very rustic clubhouse kind of place, with the Scrolling Oly beer signs and pickled eggs for sale- But, what does everyone else think? We did north of the ship canal last week- Downtown? or a foray to poverty rock to drink up at the Roanoke? Quote
mattp Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Let's save the trip to "poverty rock" for some time when we can all have fun with Caveman. Quote
chris_w Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Since I live up north it doesn't matter to me. I just follow the smell of beer. Mercer Island kBallard: OKDowntown: OKPortland: NOT OK Quote

AlpineK Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Good beer at the E! And Beck I have been to the Roanoke. Its nice, but it is on Mercer Island, and I've spent way too much time working on MI and dealing with the locals . I'll go there to meet caveguy but not for any less reason. Quote
mattp Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Actually I made the mistake but I'm so cool I'm sure you'll forgive me. It's ELYSIEN. Oops, I did it agin. Elysian. Quote

Dwayner Posted January 15, 2002 Posted January 15, 2002 Don't believe Icegirlie. She didn't show up last time. Many of us were hoping to meet a new friend. Maybe she looked through the window at that Latona place, saw that plastic climbing wall game and split. Don't believe Icegirlie. She didn't show up last time. - Dwayner Quote
