Alisse Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 So amazing! https://www.opb.org/article/2023/08/27/peak-bagging-the-bulger-list-washington-state-mountains/ Quote
mthorman Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Wow that is impressive! Did anyone else notice the caption on the 2nd photo? Since when is Eldorado a "Chilliwack Peak"? Quote
JasonG Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Since never...... but a good reminder that most stories have something wrong, no matter the author or subject. But sheesh, what an effort! I have about 25 peaks to go on the Bulger list and I will be happy if I can get it done in the next 5-10 years. I think I climbed my first peak on the list in about 1994. Quote
Phil K Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) I (sort of) know Jeff Hashimoto from Nordic Skiing, but didn't know that he was a climber. The guy is a beast. Edited September 8, 2023 by Phil K add content Quote
Phil K Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) Oh, and in the middle of this effort he had the time and energy to place 10th in the Cascade Crest 100 mile run on 7/21, posting up a respectable time of 18:44:45. That is 100 miles at ~5:25 each. 23,000+ feet of elevation gain. Edited September 13, 2023 by Phil K minute breakdown Quote

olyclimber Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Man I know that Hashimoto guy from something, but something a long time ago. Could have been when I worked at Camp Parsons, or something like that.... Quote
