Is something odd with this image of Mt. Rainier?

Shuksan has always had delusions of grandeur

Funny thing I've noticed is that Shuksan's image gets (mis)used quite a lot. My mom visited Glacier NP a couple years a go and got me a tshirt at the gift store... it's definitely a picture of Shuksan on it and says "Glacier National Park" right above it.

same thing at lake loiuse gift shop.  In the heart of one of the grandest mountain ranges in NA, take your photo with a stuffed grizzly and a mountainous backdrop of.........shuksan.

In the mid 90s I bought a can of carpet freshener with shuksan on it. WTF. A couple of years later i moved to Arizona and low and behold in the wal mart was a cheapo large framed photo of Der shukhorn... I immediately bought it. It was the nicest thing in my apartment at the time.

if I recall correctly, the "what Mt. Mazama might have looked like" illustration at Crater Lake is just Mt. Hood with the ski lifts photoshopped out
