bigeo Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Shuksan has always had delusions of grandeur 1 Quote
bedellympian Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Funny thing I've noticed is that Shuksan's image gets (mis)used quite a lot. My mom visited Glacier NP a couple years a go and got me a tshirt at the gift store... it's definitely a picture of Shuksan on it and says "Glacier National Park" right above it. Quote

In the heart of one of the grandest mountain ranges in NA, take your photo with a stuffed grizzly and a mountainous backdrop of.........shuksan. 1 Quote

Kit Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 In the mid 90s I bought a can of carpet freshener with shuksan on it. WTF. A couple of years later i moved to Arizona and low and behold in the wal mart was a cheapo large framed photo of Der shukhorn... I immediately bought it. It was the nicest thing in my apartment at the time. Quote
DPS Posted October 27, 2020 Author Posted October 27, 2020 In case anyone is wondering, this is a photo of a reusable shopping bag from Safeway in Issaquah. Quote

APE Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 (edited) if I recall correctly, the "what Mt. Mazama might have looked like" illustration at Crater Lake is just Mt. Hood with the ski lifts photoshopped out Edited November 21, 2020 by APE Quote
