I had this stuff in Vietnam a few months back that can only be classifed as "fish sauce". Could be called a "relish". Sounds like it would taste like shit when they tell you what's in it, but it sure does make a plate of anything go down good. Yummy! Eating in VN is dirtbag cheap! I ate all I could each day for less than $2 US. Righteous!
