  1. I've been informed that the raptor closure is already in effect. It began February 1. However, it only applies to the three lowest climbing areas: Tim's Pond Wall (which no one ever does anyway), Royal Columns, and The Bend. Anything further up the road towards White Pass is still open. That would include Moon Rocks, Windy Point, Oasis, The Cave, etc. Cross-posted to Access Issues and Rock Climbing forums. NYC007, I couldn't update my PM to you because you're "over the limit for receiving private messages". Clean out your inbox!
  2. carolyn, From your PM, Latte sounds like she has many of the classic symptoms of CRF. Call me ASAP. Check your PMs for contact info. I cannot subscribe to this vet's "call" that it's time to have Latte pts. Let's talk. Paul
  3. Sure, I'd love to help. They can stay at my house.

JG: Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can look it up sometime. WC: Nice screen capture pic. BB: You just don't want us kickin' around your backyard, huh?

Are there any technical routes on Roman Nose? I love the rock quality of Harrison Peak, and was wondering what it's like on RN. I know, I know, these aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along... move along.
  8. Best TR I've read on this board in an eternity - extremely moving. I cannot really appreciate the feelings you must be processing right about now. I wish peace for you for your time at the crash site.
  9. Yah! Those boulders have nasty, big, pointy teeth! And a viscious streak a mile wide! very dangerous rodent
  10. It's just you. Seriously though, I had the same trouble, but I was shown the light. WeekendClimberz has a post in the Newbies forum about posting images and pics. See this thread. The mods made it a sticky (and rightly so), so anyone should be able to find it easily enough.

    car problem???

Agreed. It is probably in the fluid line, just a matter of checking it all out. If the master checks out ok and you bleed the line and it works at first then does the same thing, you will need to replace the slave cylinder. Remember to disconnect the feed line and 2 mounting bolts on the slave, reinstall the new one and proceed to fill up the master cylinder again, and then start your bleeding process all over again. That's the part chicks know about. Are you telling him, even if he's not willing, he should be able to get by with doing this once a month? :lmao: Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.
  12. Sweet! Well done. I don't like the idea of charging the rescuee(s) for a rescue, for reasons amply pointed out in this post. That said, I'm going to believe the hint that Troy aims at Rep. Krummel is written with tongue firmly planted in cheek and is meant to alert Mr. Krummel to the falacy of his "logic" in promoting this sort of knee-jerk, off-the-wall legislation.

But you're gonna leave those open shots untouched? lot of pushing feels funny it returns slowly at first and then pops up
