The coolest "I wanna" outside your given discipline

i want to go on a solo canoe trip through the northwest territories. carrying my boat when i cannot paddle. i want to come out at victoria falls babbling incoheratnly to myself why i need to eat only 3 chocolate chips before 3pm and why salt is only white, while pepper is black and white. then i want to go and walk accross the australian outback by myself. to really see what the suffering of the body means to the mind. and my biggest dream ever would to be able to sit through 1 hour of prime time t.v. without getting up and leaving cause it is making me anxious. -
it is too bad that mr. robbins figured that he had to take actions into his own hands to deal with the winter wall. especailly what sounds like an end run. my concern over it would be the fact that those climbs would bring increased traffic to a currently relativly untrammled area. which is not a good thing. the soil in the coulee is very fragile and to have poeple start walking all over it to climb a few more routes seems like a little bit too much. the area has many good climbs and the development should stay where it is at. too bad that all your guys work is down the tube, but sounds like you should have done some research on the subject first.

how's about that?!

so while we were up at s.c.w. my bro's were over at the pearly gates climbing. when the arrived there some older guys came up to them and started sweating them about the place. after hearing that i and ray told themn about the place they started into some serious shit talking. even going as far as mentioning wallstein's name. what the fuck!!! you guys your little secret crag is on public land. it is nice to hear that you would kick my ass in he old days for talking the way i do, but as i pause and look back i can gauantee that i have never made like comments. so you can kiss my ass. i personally reccomend the pearly gates to everyone. probably the nicest cliff in the icicle with a similar appraoch as givlers, but with more classic climbing. directions. head up s.c. trail right afer crossing the foot bridge over the cana; you come to a switcg back. enter into the brush and follow some down timber until you cross the creek. work your way towards the a litte dirty wall and you we will see a trail follow this using cairns (if needed) up to the cliff. it is about 20 min hike and really worth it. if you are going to put 10 anchors on top of a wall, you better expect people are going to use them. dave, viktor or whom ever else was up there you guys are a joke!!!!

the thing that really got me was the fact that 'buddy' would not give me his name or id. if i remember right all law enforcememt must do so at request. just as i got me id when he asked. he went as far as to threaten me to leave him alone about it. i did not get citied, but he refused to identify himself properly to me and that is my personal gripe. on the ticketing issue that is all b.s. as well and should and needs to be stopped, especially if they have the likes of him trying to enforce it. i am filing a complaint with the forest service and the wentachee county sheriff.
-
my question is what route is it? and if buddy is a sport climber he just might be missing some tricky placements. and if it even came to putting bolts in, he better know what he is doing!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't post much on this site because there are few folks here, especially you two, that post so much useless crap that it's hard to sift through all the bullshit and find some worthwhile reading. I'm sure this one will earn me your love though, hope to hear from you soon! dru and caveman, what is your problem????? your guys sense of humor is waaayyyyy toooooo much, shit i mean what in the world are you trying to do by having some fun by highlighting other's little context errors and just as equal stupid remarks???!!! no wonder you guys are that way you are!!!! shit, probably don't ever climb anyhting either do ya???? fucking keyboard jockey's!!!! you need to get more like me and get a different job where oyu have to stay away from the computer. now i get to listen to equally worthless banter, but now with a even more wretched sraying topics....girlz and how much you can drink, and when i start talking about climbing people's eyes glaze over and they talk about their new 45" tires......you guys are spoiled!!!!!!!

i'd have to agree with you on that one alpine tom. people that think rei or any retail store for that matter is some sort of equipment leasing agency, is way off base. i am sure you could consider some people's actions as criminal with thier return and exchange inc.... i might not be the best citizen, but i do know from right and wrong and try to subsist comfortably in the middle. with my morrals taking control.
