quote: Originally posted by Necronomicon: Prepare to meet thy doom. Here's the route description: 1)Grovel up hill through woods for all of time. 2)Climb over golaith mounds of avalanche debris to base of route at center of face, clenching bowels. 3)Turn back on loved ones, and the material world, and ascend face, past several empty coffins and underneath the gleaming, reaping blade of the Harvester, Death. 4)Shake hands with The Beast 666, and climb thorugh the eye of the Skull to the summit. No problem! p.s. I highly suggest that you buy some ice tools and try this as your first route of the season. hey nec...is that the description of your old lady??? or the actual route?? you wannna belay me?

quote: Originally posted by mattp: Goddess, we can have this debate about just about any place (for example, there are those who said Hatties Hat was too small and too smokey, though in the back room there was always plenty of room for our party and I don't remember any smoke). I've never been to Shultzy's but my comment about the inside of the Ballroom was based on the fact that it is dark, noisy, and i don'r remember there being more than a few tables in there - and small ones at that. My guess is that Schultzy's is better in these respects, and that the food is better, too. If not, I'd be willing to tough it out for one evening in the name of visiting a new place. whoa@@!!!! ihad more then enough at hattie's hat last night....ugh......!!!!!

There's a lot of wisdom in that! so if one is a stout traditionalist.....and they were to follow frankie's excellent device....would that mean tolerance of bolts is a good thing??? or maybe actually, realizing that things will change and that all type of climbing are valid??? just a thought!

In the University District, Schultzy's owners Don and Susan Schulze have taken the plunge, spent $425,000 on a building and spent $125,000 more converting half of it into a 60-seat restaurant. With the larger space, the couple have added beer and wine on tap, upscale hamburgers, and some low-fat vegetarian fare to their signature sausage dishes. " bling bling
