Dru I'd love to climb with you, but this is about skiing. [ 04-09-2002: Message edited by: AlpineK ]

Are you an expert skier/mountaineer? If you had something cool to do would you mind lugging a big pack and being cold and maybe wet? Do you have flexible time in May? Can you hang out with someone who likes substance abuse (but maybe not as much as you might expect ) If you can say yes to all of the above you should send me a PM. I've got some plans in the great white north, and lots of experience skiing and climbing. I live in Ballard and I've got a truck.

Dwayner's alright in my book; he might not be a bad ass rock climber, but he's better than Blight

Bronco Watch Caddyshack, and then get some C4.

The way it goes is Seattle, Seattle, Tacoma, other. Other being eastside. I believe Rodeo picked a spot in Kirkland....Lucky 7 I think.
-
This shit is like the best!!
-
The way we've been working the rotation it is the eastside's turn.
-
Cheap skis with Silveretta bindings or Ramer bindings. I don't know sources in P towm, but any place that might have used AT stuff would be a good place to look.
-
So Rodeo where is this lucky 7, and do they have darts for chucK?

Um Coopers is in Seattle....

Ok lets not be rocket scientists about this. The club is on tuesday. Sorry Lambone, but you could show up after the gym closes. Anywhoo, what we need to decide is Alki vs eastside. Ok 1,2,3... fight
-
Yes speaking of which... This next pub club should be on the eastside, but there are some that think the Alki is the spot (guess who). So lets talk about this now. I'm up for whatever, so don't be dissing on me, but I wouldn't mind seeing a good fight between the Alki folk and the eastsiders. So..............

Can you believe it. They have some automatic editing shit over at summitwimp.com that changes good words like: shit, fuck, or motherfucker with @#$#. What a bunch of crap. Hey I see Muiron Saturday signed the summit register on the big R, so did I climbing spectrum Extreem ..................... WimpMark Twight.................. Scot'teryx

I thought I would share my most recent post at summitwimp.com Hey GuitarBitch and Scotty. I'm tough in real life too. I wouldn't be afraid to walk up to someone who was bothering me and telling them that unlike Scot'twuss. In fact part of my job in real life is to jump right into conflicts. As for my cred, I doubt any of you have climbed as much as I have. Yeah I'm beating my chest, but it's a fact. I've been a climber for over 20 years. Scott on the other hand is a fucking drunk who gave up the juice and instantly became an expert. Moderate this motherfucker

Christian, Jeff, and I skied the Crooked couloir yesterday (4/3). The weather was great. We left the parking lot at 8:30 and were at the top of the ski at 11:30. The snow has a hard crust, which made the uphill go pretty well, though ski crampons would have helped. Skiing down the couloir was fun; right at the crux we skied through a shady area and the snow was icy. The ski down the Phantom slide was nice. The south facing slopes got mushier as you got lower; I started to punch through the crust near the bottom. We skied the waterfall to finish. I would like to beat my chest a little... I've now skied every aspect of Mt. Snoqualmie. In fact I an now Mr. Mt. Snoqualmie. Taking a page from GregM, I think I will rename the mountain to Mt. Kurt. Scot'teryx quote...(from summitpost.com) "As moderator of this board I am really pissed off. What the hell just went on here? I was gone for 8 hours and all hell broke loose. This is not freakin elementary school here kiddies! Listen everyone, if you want spray, then go to cascadeclimbers.com, not here. This is an incredibly informative website for people of all skill levels, and I will not allow this crap to go on here. If Mr Pumpington wishes to leave with his mountains, that is fine - unfair, but fine. It is a community website that has been graciously donated to us the climbers. That is all for now." AlpineK (summitpost.com) Ya know Scott I was looking forward to meeting you again, but now I think you are a total wanker. I haven't read much here, but if your going to say that any web site is an incredibly informative site and get all serious and @!#$ then you truely suck. Graciously donated my fucking ass. I hope I piss you off the next time I see you, just like Muir on Saturday. I doubt I'll be involved with this site, so use your super moderator powers to give me the boot. I don't care. I'll just keep climbing and talking trash like I did long before I ever heard of the internet. This site is for wimps anyway. That's the best I could do for now. I do hope they give me the boot Oh yeah Mark Twight is a bad ass mofo!!! [ 04-03-2002: Message edited by: AlpineK ]

Boulder is a fucking hell hole with lots of great climbing. Eldo Canyon rules, Lumpy Ridge rules, RMNP rules. However other than Max, the people who live there are a bunch of fucking retards. DO NOT LIVE THERE!!!! visiting is ok though. Get up early, and you'll have Eldo to yourself. A side trip to Longmont is fun; check out the turkey processing plant and the trailer trash.
