Before Patriot Act, I traveled internationally and was never stopped at the border. After Patriot Act, every time I go through Customs/INS at the airport I get stopped and endure a lengthy wait. Correllation? I dunno. I still think Clinton is Fairweather's red herring. He brought up KERRY's military record and when people criticized Bush and Cheney's he injects clinton into the argument. Weak. I'm a veteran, I am against Bush, I am a libertarian and I don't much care for Kerry either. I don't ascribe to either party line. However, the thought of another 4 years with the current administration makes me ill.

Are you are arguing that someone is "crying foul" about Bush sending troops into battle despite his not having experience in combat? If someone did that in this thread I missed it. What I am reading in this thread is the assertion in the article posted by Fairweather that Bush is somehow more masculine than Kerry. My argument is that Kerry served in combat while Bush did not, therefore Bush is not more masculine than Kerry. Fairweather's injection of Clinton into this argument is a red herring.

Hey Eric-- My buddy and I climbed Washington the weekend you were rescued. I have some photos I took of the rescue and gave a set to Kurt. While the rock in most places on Washington is pretty chossing and brittle, there are spots where it is solid and takes gear well. Perhaps this route should be avoided rather than the entire mountain.

As opposed to an old teenager, which describes just about everyone on this site.

I have not read this entire thread but I would like to take issue with all the naysayers on this website who fill the board with bad beta and negativity. I have climbed Cho Orayo via the double-stuff route and we did not pay a permit fee nor were did we have any encounters with officer lee ayson. Bronco-- when do you plan your ascent of mt. index? as you can tell I have experience in expedition climbing and would like to join your trip.
