Looking to get out to Broughton as much as I can before Beacon opens back up. Lets get you off that plastic!

Headed up there to start out spring break. Looking at 19-21st; day depending on weather. I was thinking to hit up the N side, but I just want to get on top and not jump in the congo line. LMK if any of those dates work. I can go the next week end too if the first doesn't work; I have to fit surfing and bouldering in there somewhere. Where does that pink line come in from? Used a system based on this in the BWCAW on 2 week nordic ski trip, they work grrrrreat. If I remember right, I started with a "torpedo". It is a little more rigid than the sleds I think you talking about and it isn't as wide, but the functionality for what I needed was perfect.

what crag are you developing? I'm psyched to explore new crags this season. It's up at Exit 38 Far Side, near Headlight Point. Rad is pretty good with giving guided tours. The area needs more aficianados. I might come out to play this Summer too and finish a proj not even Rad knows about, but will need to replenish my stolen bolt and hanger cache Far Side out past Ozone on the the way to the RAWK? I'd like to get out there. I heard I can place some gear out there and there is a surprise waiting for me A guided tour is needed since Tim's book won't some out soon enough...

Be confident in your self arrest skills and navigating in nasty weather. I've been up there a few times and have had nothing but great weather, but then that why we went. Steve has a great point about the bivy; watching the sunset from Lunch Counter with St. Helens in the foreground... Fly into PDX for sure and hit Full Sail Brewery in Hood River on the way down Have fun, its long but the views are good. Have you thought about skiing?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, LaX county does not recycle plastics so they can make sure that they have enough garbage to burn, out on French's Isle., for power. Eagle Creek is a great hike. I would recommend Table Mtn for the third day if it is clear; Eagle Creek otherwise. Both facilitate camping very nicely. FULL SAIL BREWERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
