The raging wind atop the Stump Route Sunday night took my cup for a ride. Well specifically it took the cup my buddy lent me which happens to have significant sentimental value, as in it is the cup he recieved on the rafting trip where he propsed to his wife. DOH! If you by any chance come across this cup I would be extreemely grateful for its return. It is Blueish and has some writing on it pertainig to a raft trip. TIA, Tyson

I am an inquiring kind of guy, hence the question. Feck - I fully agree and understand the point(s) made in your post. Really not trying to start shit but to ask, what I feel, is a legitimate question. I do not envy the job of the moderators but do appreciate the forum and the work you all do. Thanks for at least taking the time to post an answer/personal opinion on this topic.

Agreed gentlemen. "at a certain point it stops being funny and becomes something rather more ugly." A modicum of transparancy would do well to lessen the asssumptions/speculation as to reasoning. Not that the moderators need to "explain" their actions, but it would possibly quell some of the perceptions of uneven handling of situations.

That is one way to look at it.

Curious as to the thought process here: We have a topic posted in Climbers Board, it is ridiculous and the spray nozzle starts to flow, so the topic is moved the "spray" (appropriate, yes), but then after some fun is had suddenly it is locked down? Are we protecting people in the spray forum as well now? Are we protecting the original poster who clearly could choose to no longer participate at will? Not really a criticism just a question about the reasoning.

I'm consistently surprised how little physical effort is required to exceed the "quit and turn around" threshold of most people, even "climbers". I'm not boasting. I don't get out that much. But the times I've worked, I've consistently been alone. - yep!

I actually prefer to move uphill away from the masses and sleep in the dirt. It would be a pity if I got any softer than I already am. Wait a minute, Wetslide are you flipping hitting on me?

The ticks are really freaking bad right now too! My buddy pulled forty seven (47) off his left ankle alone. Poor bastard is damn near out of blood! My other buddy got bitten by seventeen (17) baby rattlesnakes all at one time! Luckily he had been slowly building up an immnunity to rattlesnake poisin over the last few years.
