Hopefully. I've done a lot of Index 10b so I think it should be ok. Just I've only done one trad 10c though.

I think I might have shown you my tricks already. Toxic shock first, maybe also try the first pitch of thin fingers as well. Soft for 10a IMO. Hit the 9's on lead. The gear is universally good (except for the beginning of short Japanese Gardens IMO). I think at Index leading should be your aspiration, rather than TRing the 10's but that's me.

After reading it I have to agree with Josh. It barely makes sense. And I think what he is implying is that we shouldn't elect people like Obama- not that we should make it impossible. I think you have to see that is what he is trying to do, right? It's freaking obvious.

No. What it sounded like to me (I just read the title) was that his getting elected was somehow illogical. I assume the author backed his title up with facts.

Only thing I'd recommend in terms of experience is the south side of Hood. But if you're worried about it being busy... :wave: :wave:

Only time I've done the Adam's glacier was in late season and it was crampons conditions for sure so it depends on when you do it. And I'd bring an ice ax. Knowing how to use it helps too.

Don't try Mazama without experience/crampons/crevace rescue knowledge, ice ax.

Get a light lens and if you are buying a DSLR strictly for climbing, consider the rebel xs- the lightest dslr canon makes. Pair that with a prime 50 lens and you have one heck of a light set-up. Now toss on a 2.5 # wide angle and you will experience another side of the spectrum.
