  1. And I am taking your advice.
  2. haha. great movie
  3. Dude his girlfriend friended me on facebook and stole my picture? Is that not dirty work? Then he posts the photo on cascade climbers. WTF is that. I could probably sue him for that. If they'd asked I'd probably let them have it but they stole it.
  4. "I am 'SERIOUSLY' living it up in Squamish with my 'SERIOUSLY' hot girlfriend, and it is 'SERIOUSLY' awesome. " Wow- what are you trying to prove?
  5. Sweet job on the 5.13 btw.
  6. Keep letting your girlfriend do your dirty work.
  7. congrats, then dude! i am happy for you! reaching a milestone is a big deal in life and climbing, and is definitely something of which to be proud. do you say it to everyone here in the tone of (insert snide sounding voice here) "well i did this, so there..." (end snide voice now), or are you telling others because you never, in a million years, thought you could do that and are just so stoked by doing it that you have to tell people? I admit, it does feel good to get off the beaten track and not do the 5.9 everyone else does. Make sense? i can understand the latter... the former, however, just doesn't fit in my philosophy for climbing (or life). Hope it doesn't come off that way. Ya I guess I never thought I'd be climbing the more (sorta) serious routes.
  8. Well it was a big deal for me.
  9. Man, leave it alone dude. That's what we call a technicality. At least I didn't leave fixed lines sitting on it or put a string of bolts up it. I found zero physical evidence of previous ascents. In fact, there was a preponderance of evidence against any previous ascent. I cleaned off, not just a little layer of moss, but in some places a foot thick of moss. I trundled many blocks, uprooted ferns, ect. I was covered in mud and dirt. Take a look at the pictures. Any reasonable person, seeing it in its previous condition, would say it hadn't been climbed. It isn't in any guidebooks or internet databases. So, if it was a classic, or even a remotely good climb, why wasn't it in any guidebook?
  10. I'm OK at research. I guess I need to go beyond the guidebooks.
  11. Ok. Deal. But only if you do too.
  12. And people call my route crappy. Just kidding. These at Index? They look hard.
  13. Choda, didn't you just put up a FA at the gym I heard about? But you blew the onsight? While you spray, some of us actually climb. I onsighted a 5.10b 8 pitch route yesterday and come home to this. Stop sitting in your basement concocting whatever BS you are going to spew at the world. And I know anything I say now will get spray so whatever. I can't imagine what lives you guys have. Seriously.
  14. Yep it works. Well...I did it with 85 but close enough, right?
  15. +1 for being awesome +1 for sending in the wet +1 for drinking good beer -1 for being a member of cascade climbers -1 for not wearing Lycra -1 for spray about a dubious previous ascent with no evidence.
  16. Call me a douche again.
  17. You should, it is fun. But careful about claiming even the most modest of projects as a FA.
  18. Nothing to be proud of here man.
  19. You'll notice I asked if anyone had any other information on the route. It appeared in no other guidebooks. Just got unlucky.
  20. yep I'm a huge pussy.
