  2. funny video.
  3. I assume you are referencing Rand. I pretty much took away from her book (Atlas Shrugged) that she is essentially anti-liberal. These de-regulations and tax cuts are essentially libertarian- quite Rand. She is against people who refuse to carry their own weight-hence the phrase "looters". For instance- if you deregulate business- we will have a more robust free market economy. Letting the rich keep their money is simply a way of rewarding hard work. So, maybe change the reference. Thank you for summarizing the report you had to write on a "grown up" book. Ayn Rand was a cunt. Nothing she wrote has any value as anything other that fiction. If you read it for more than that you're a dipshit. The last 100 pages of Atlas Shrugged was drivel I didn't even read. Interesting tale to that point, though. Kind of like having a job interview with a businessman, until you find out his business is Amway. Then you want to punch him in the face. Rand was most certainty an intellectual and philosopher. Try reading "For the New Intellectual". Just sayin...

  5. An alternate route to the summit and a good choice if the main gully is busy, is the southeast ridge of the summit pyramid which requires a bit more mid-fifth class climbing. There is some loose rock on both routes so you must choose your holds carefully! All I could find.
  6. Why can't we all admit that technology can be good and that modern belay devices are superior to old techniques?
  7. Awesome. Want to tick that one off!
  8. Was planning on 3 climbs as the first post states. First- Stuart Glacier Coulior- we bailed due to an avalanche. Second- North Ridge of Baker- Success! Third- Early Winter Spires- cancelled due to fatigue from doing Baker in a day when we brought gear for 3 days.
  9. The other one is an old luc/metolius straight shaft. I now replaced it with a reactor.
  10. Hey. Ya it's the aluminum one if that makes any difference. I used tubular webbing. I have no clue how strong it is but I just use it for a tent deadman mostly. I'd trust it for a body weight anchor but wouldn't relish the idea of taking a lead fall onto it.
  11. Also check into IMG's used gear. Earlier in the season they had some double pastics for 100$.
  12. North cascades has some of the finest in the area. Liberty bell group, torment forbidden traverse, so on and so forth.
  13. I am packing for a 6 day climbing trip and took a picture of the gear for 3 different climbs during that time period. Post your packing pictures here.
  14. +1 for t rutl's point. Nepal Evo's can't get any better IMO.
  15. I think the large of the neoair is heavier than the regular of the z-rest- which I think used to be 75 inches so it corresponded with the large neoair.
  16. Up to your style. I personally like a sparse photo spread of my best shots. But seriously up to you.
  17. Nice josh. Keep the ticks rolling.
  18. Hopefully heading that way soon. Thanks for the update.
  19. Ya you probably will. We had no trouble. It was interesting though- I figured we'd get a spot in the hut with a relatively early start-wrong! The hut was full but we basked in a 3 man hilleberg. Only problem was the wind. Good luck.
  20. There's a restroom at pan point? yep.
  21. going out of your way to belittle a fellow climber and then bringing attention to it is completely lame. i cleaned a route. thats it. go clean it yourself next time.
