  1. Hell yeah. You should put a trip report up with what routes you did.
  2. The Wenatchee / Leavenworth area has a pretty solid group of outdoor enthusiasts. You should check out www.wenatcheeoutdoors.com for some ideas on hikes, climbs, etc. One idea for meeting folks would be to do some of the events organized by Leavenworth Winter Sports Club, such as runs and ski "races." You will probably also have success meeting climbing partners on this board. Good luck with your move!
  3. Yeah but they suck at naming routes. Apparently one of the Brits freed Steve Bartlett's "Chocolate Starfish" in Canyonlands and renamed it "Century Crack." Renaming routes after you free them is weak to start with, but Chocolate Starfish is a waaaay better name than Century Crack.
  4. The mystery has been solved. The secret to climbing thin cracks is to have thin hands.
  5. You are full of shit! The occupy Wall Street, Westlake, etc. people on tv with purple hair say there's no jobs out there for young people and no future at all. This is clearly government propaganda.
  6. Nice. Looks like some shit in the Dolomites. Except with maybe a little ... less culture.
  7. Whats a good RL Burnside album? All the music of his I've heard has been some weird remix shit.
  8. Awesome stories! Reminds me of seeing Winston Rodney, Aka Burning Spear, at the University of Montana. Great show but I think he was dismayed that the auditorium was full of honkeys.
  9. Nice job guys. Looks neat. Good work finding such a long and sustained route.
  10. How fast did you read the article, Pink? Did you read it in a single push?
  11. No. Spam.
  12. So, in other words ... you're admitting you were wrong?
  13. Probably b/c there is a huge bullet hole in it. On the contrary, bear can be very good eating and many people enjoy it, including myself. Leaving the head doesn't mean anything. A licensed bear hunter is just as likely to leave the damaged skull as is a poacher, and the hunter apparently took the hide and meat. But really, who knows and who cares; but jumping to the conclusion that it was poached is stupid, espescialy when its the middle of bear season and its easy to get multiple bear tags.
  14. Potter, Huber, Barber, etc. Those guys are all alive. In fact, Bachar and Hersey are the only two that I can think of that died free soloing.
  15. Prolly fuk'n poachers. Probably not. Its been bear season for the last couple months.
  16. And you think Primus sucks.
  17. I'm kind of suprised. I would have figured Barry Blanchard could have taken on a Grizzly barehanded and won easy.
  18. Pearl Jam sucks.
  19. Perhaps this should be moved to the Peyote forum
  20. How about get a job. That will keep you busy.
  21. Nice! Lucked out with the wedder. I climbed Wildflowers more than ten years ago and it was good but rather licheny. It sure looks like its cleaned up a bit by now.
  22. Early Season Ski Sale!! For sale is a pair of 188 cm 2010/11 Prior Overlords (140 / 116 / 124) mounted with Marker Barons (sz S). Skis are in minty condition. I skied on the setup only three times in last year's late season deep snowpack. Only blemishes are some minor scratches on the top sheet. Skis have only been drilled once for these Barons. Barons are size small, but small goes up to 325 mm. These skis friggin rip and would be great for an area / slackcountry setup. They are also handmade in Whistler, B.C. $650 gets the skis and bindings. I can meet you or possibly deliver in the Seattle or Wenatchee area. If I ship, you pay cost. Thanks!
  23. Late summer summits on the Lib Bell group are often quite sublime. Nice work!
