20' solo and downclimb? alriiiiiight...!
-
You hit the pin right on the head with that one joe
-
I'd rather flail up the .10a direct start - which I've done - rather than that gearless monstrosity!
-
So even you will be working hard is what you are saying, nate? Where you go to boulder out there in the gorge? is there a gym or do you do it in town? or outside?
-
Mine goes, "Sometimes I climb hard, but then I THINK and it goes away."
-
Maybe i should climb in the gym more
-
This sounds like a miserable exercise/fitness day at the gym - I definitely know why i don't climb hard
-
Perhaps more people should realize this. If anything this site gives u some thick skin. I recently had a discussion about this with some other cc climbers.... Oh and YW is my fav, but I am a single cell organism in my evolution as it relates to climbing at Beacon and will likely have a different answer at this time next year You speak beyond your years, grasshopper. And I agree with you, too - Warriors is the coolest

Looks like Ivan has started a trend with the mini bomb box! ah, but geoff does not, at least based on this pic, appear to have yet bought into my fondness for tying into the muzak as well :lmao:
-
of course when weather prevents this take rad's advice... you can also traverse the wall or around the room using any holds and not touching floor...
-
if all these scientist pricks would quit fucking their lab-assistants and finally invent a teleporter i'd do a hell of a lot more climbing at index (especially if it could dump me off right at the base of the upper wall ) Outstanding response ivan!
-
how many times have u done that route ivan? done as in aided? or a free or free attempt? What does it matter? you're there either way...
-
Kev~ Evidently, you have a computer at the new job from which to profess yer spray... that's good! How's it goin there? Moonlight~ You should take yer cleaning prowess to beacon and help with the "abandoned routes"

Become friends with Jim. Aside from just being a great friend, he is also great at removing the oak since he claims that it has no effect on him...

Does anyone know "tymebldr"? No offense, but your posts seem suspect. "clips"? Are you even a climber? the court "made" you hire counsel? Courts don't "make" people hire attorneys. You are free to represent yourself. What was the charge? Who was your attorney? Did you plead guilty? To what? If not, was there a trial? Who else was ticketed, charged with you? You weren't climbing alone when you were ticketed at the time I assume? Who was your judge? I smell a rat. Su-weet!!! Conspiracy bullshit on cc.com - expose everyone!

A thousand years of erosion with five easy strokes - and there will be no more smearing!

[TR] Beasodden Rock - Dimwits in Da Deluge 10/17/2009
LostCamKenny replied to ivan's topic in Oregon Cascades
The corner was in great waterfall shape yesterday, though it was higher up on the easier ground that it was wettest... the lower pitches were relatively dry, with some patches of greasy right where you don't wont them, and it had just rained the day before.. Grassy ledges was muddy and Young Warriors was soaked pretty good, too. The first pitch of blownout looked nightmare-ishly greasy, which is almost worse than being wet, and I wouldn't even try to free the first pitch of dod's on a day like yesterday - even as easy as it is... Point: One day for the corner if you want an adventure and two - three for harder stuff. -
My friend is a PU$$ and now I am scared of Bears!

Whatever - you can say that about squirrels, too. -

To be honest, I'm not sure what is worse. Though it wouldn't be true french climbing fashion without a cigarette on lead -
... if you can afford the $$$. Otherwise post on the climbing partners board and find someone who has it together enough and wants to take on the task of instructing a climber new to placing gear. A guide is the best idea, but since not all of us can afford it teaming up with an experienced partner is the next best thing. Plus, its great for the person you team up with, too - teaching another makes one learn it that much better!
-
Wear mine everyday - climb in them, too! Everyday for the past 13 months and they still make it up the crag. Very durable IMO, but I also like the VX Daecents...

is this the shit you see being sold on ebay?
