  3. Joe were u involved in the discussions? Could u cross post ur earlier comment about the decision. If what u say is fact then BRSP employees must regularly lie to the public when they call up?
  4. BTW Nate Ur entitled to ur own opinion and I am sure u are a pleasant guy, but ur post makes u look like a real d-bag. Just sayin.... Hardman
  5. A decision on keeping the trail closed or opening it should be made in the next two weeks as the powers that be return..... If u do call to inquire about the closure please be diplomatic as they are at least still considering what to do
  6. the north side has been climbed on for many years. in 2001 guy pinjuv and i almost climbed a "new" line to the summit but were stopped about a pitch short. beautiful up there. whereabouts? where did you start/end? did you see any old gear along the way and did you leave any? it is the beatard season for poking round up there afterall. Cool pic LCK. Like Steve I always thought that portion of the north side was closed. Its great to see some old gear up there. A reclamation sounds like a cool idea and I'd be willing to help explore. Or perhaps I will let someone else due all the leg work and reap the benefit when its done

  20. So I should just wipe the sand out of my vag... Thanks guys
  21. So u are paying some slack out before moving up. Did not think of that... Yes! The suck factor increases exponentially the higher u get up
  22. I was reminded again over the last few days how much solo aiding sucks with a grigri The thing is a pain in my ass as it needs to be managed nearly every step. As a result, I may be buying something new shortly. The Eddy looks like the best choice as it feeds smoothly. However, if I understand how the device works, you have to pack the rope on your back. This is an inconvenience if you are free climbing, but who wants to pack all the gear for a aid climb and the rope? So is there another solution or should I just wipe the sand out of my vag?

Return it to REI tell em u got it as a gift and don't have a receipt. They should give you market price. Or u can take the $50 dollar hit....
