  1. Going to Yosemite. Need some quick cash. Leaving Saturday morning. $80 takes the cam. Never been used. I'd rather be on the Prow than have the piece of gear. Plaidman
  2. No problem
  3. Thanks Dude. I thought the climb was not epic an we were willing to be in the rain and knew it was coming. We could have bailed. It must be the Scottish blood that makes me wanna climb in the rain.
  4. I was near Beacon Rock at a family cabin. So we were close by. We could see the ash plume that evening spewing. I was surprised we did not feel anything as we were really close. We were just on the river side of Table Mountain. Maybe not so close. Looks like 40 miles south and east. Plaidman

  8. My partner and I are headed up to take a look from the Hogs Back. We will see. It looks like a go to me. But is always best to look before you leap. Got skins and skis for the first time so I can ski off from the top of the Palmer. Wahooo!!
  9. I have been posting my adventures of recent climbs at: http://blog.oregonlive.com/climbing/index.html Just wanted to let those that may miss me, know what I have been up to. Plaidman
  10. I was at Next Adventure in Portland Oregon on Saturday and saw an old school pair of Black Diamond Ice Tools. They could have been the Zero model. I am not sure. I think they wanted $50 a piece for them. They are straight shafted with rubbersized material on the shaft. Nice for the grip and no need to tape them up. Just thought I would put it out there if anyone was looking. I dream for ice. MORE ICE!!!!! Plaidman
  11. WOW. We are a force to deal with are we not. We are just too loud and having way too much fun. "climbing = major impact"
  12. Top right ad seems to be too large for the frame. It is hiding the cascade climbers logo. It maybe a frame size issue. No error though

  14. Thanks for putting up the video again. My wife said it was so beautiful up there she would like to go as long as she didn't have to use ice axes and crampons. She won't be going. Sharp things and her do not mix. Just consider the guy she married. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
  15. No relation. There is only one of me.
