  1. Fortunately MountainSloth already got a PM from someone who is willing to be helpful.
  2. You're right. It is constantly raining there. and the rain just perpetuates more ticks. Huge ones, and the more it rains the bigger they get. MAN THATS A BIG F'ING TICK!
  3. Kinda looks like Comb Buttress, or is it in the Static Point area?
  4. I said, it never rains at Erie
  5. It never Rains at Erie. That's why people go there.
  6. One of my first times climbing was top roping up at Watmough head. I really love the cove there too, great place to pull in for the night. I recall historically that the property was owned by a local then donated as a public land to the BLM. I think there is a sign at the parking lot that talks about the history. If you start developing up there I would love to here about it, I have always gone by there in a boat and wondered about the possibilities of routes along the head.
  7. Nice TR. I was on Green Giant when it was hot last summer. It was hot. Can't wait to get out on that endless Slab Daddy!
  8. Looks like a good time, wish I could have made it out with you guys.
  9. Looks like an awesome day, good to see people still getting out on that one. Last time I was out there (Early October 09) on the Middle Fork Road the Forest Service was rebuilding a bridge (Forget the Name) and had the road closed, and guarded by a WDFW officer. Were you guys able to cross it and drive pretty close to the base of the climb?
  10. Can't quite make an overnight trip for those days but would be interested in a day of cragging at Index either Thursday or Friday if you haven't found someone yet. I have a car and gear.
  11. Awesome to see you guys up there. We spent all weekend putting up a new route left of Romamtica, which also got a scrubbing up top that turned a 30 foot runout into a protectable climb with tcu pockets. The rock is Tonalitic Orthogneiss which is why you get so many varied features. It's a great area with lots of potential for new development.
  12. My friend and I will be there. Do you mean the 8th and what kind of tools should we bring.
  13. Was up exploring around the Mt. Erie area Saturday and checked out the overhanging wall at Rosario Beach Stat Park. I was wondering if any one knew any history to this area? Is it on state land? how long ago was it developed? who put the routes up?
  14. I was in the party of three that same day, and a beautiful day it was, we decided on climbing that open book on the right, it was farily exposed to get into the crack and had a nice 5.8+ boulder move at the top, but it was clean and had good protection. We also climbed a variation out to the left at the last pitch right before the third class scramble finish. It was a 15-20 foot crack that was fun climbing. All in all a great day of climbing.
